Absolutely loved this episode. Almost made me cry bearing Miguel’s story. That’s actually my brother in laws name too, Miguel Angel. If we are blessed with a little boy one day, his name will be Angel 😇

My son LOVED his pacifier. I dreaded getting rid of it for months. Read that you can cut off a small amount of the nipple. Make sure it's a safe one piece pacifier of course. Straight cut across make sure nothing they can chew off or choke on. He ended up still using it cut off but knew something was up. Then about a week later I cut off a bit more. He still used it for a couple days but then ditched it himself because it didn't work the same anymore. So easy, I was shocked. No crying.

The song you both listened to on your way to the airport, I have to look it up. Thats one of my husbands struggles is that he isn’t there to see all the moments while he’s away working.

I love this podcast because of how you two talk to each other (the funny stuff and the serious stuff). I’m looking forward to hearing that things are back on track. I agree with Steve on people being our life education, nothing against academics but the life stuff will always be more valuable to me.

I remember hearing that song, while I was away... I was mining down in del Rio and was away from my family 5 days out of the week. I was on a front end loader scooping up the rock that we had just blasted and dropping it into a crusher bawling my eyes out. That song really hit hard and made me start looking for work where I didn't have to be on the road and could be home everyday and still support my family. Took a job that paid a little bit less but I am home everyday eating dinner with my family and I would trade it 10 times out of 10.

Love this episode! I can't believe that Uber driver did that! I am a Lyft Driver in Scottsdale and I hear so many stories about how drivers do that. I didn't even know that was an option...rude one. I will take my passenger to their drop off no matter the direction. I just hit the last ride button until I can get back to where I want to be. That is so rude! I have taken people so far out of the valley you can't believe. I like the drive and it gets me to areas of the valley I would not normally go. And usually those passengers like to chit chat! If you are ever in the Valley of at least until November 2022. And need a ride hit me up! After November I will be a part-time driver in Waco, I am moving there in November. I have a whole new state to learn after all 😜!!
