The Alien Love Secrets type of album sounds awesome. That sounds perfect (partly because you have so much material you can play live already -- BTW, play 'Touching Tongues' on the next tour!), and I love the tone from ALS.

Thanks for letting us into your life once again. No other artist I can think of stays as close to his fans as you do. Inspiring is to little a word to use. Thanks for all you have done for us guitarists. And I have to agree........some of my best work comes to life in the heart of the night! I find it to be some sort of phenomenon. Something to do with the lack of natural light that breeds an inner peace. Take care my friend!

Steve told his fans a lot of interesting stories during the Steve Vai radio show in Groningen,Holland.He's also verbally very gifted and entertaining.I enjoyed every minute of it! Steve told the audience that in the beginning of his career he was afraid to call himself a 'musician'. He thought it was 'pretentious' That lasted quite a while. Steve Vai comes across as a very genuine and down to earth man.

Hi Mr. Vai, I know that you'll probably never read this post, but anyway.. I would really love to see some more videos on YT like this one. It is a real privilege to see you talking about the process of creating things, your artistic life, views on things etc. I remember an interview where you were talking about how you see an image in your head, and then about the process how it slowly becomes a reality. How your hear things etc. It was really profound and amazing to watch. Warmly, Adam

Admirable the fact that you're always working on something new! That's the attitude! I admire your dedication to music. Would be great to see you around here in Mexico. I'm trying to build a studio (I'm 15 so it's kind of hard, but I'm giving guitar and drum lessons in order to save money). Just seen the Hendrix Experience in Buffalo last night. What an awesome show! 3 hrs of top notch musicians capped off with Steve Vai that takes it to a whole other level. I recommend checking it out if you have the chance. Steve Vai brings the guitar to life along with stage presense makes it a treat you won't forget. Looking forward to the summer tour he mentions in this video.

WOW the steve vai festival was really great !!! at the second day, there was a sound error at the very end of "expending the universe". I guess the guy at the mixer did a huge mistake. so steve will have to use the recordings of the first day. I didn`t see any official video cameras so I think there will be NO dvd. audio cd is possible
