Really something special to do a project with your teacher from so many decades ago. Unexpectedly, neither one of them are really showing off their maximum ability on guitar. Which makes sense, that no longer being important to prove. What Mr. Vai and Mr. Satriani have done for the guitar is immeasurable. I catch myself whistling in the echo of the men's bathroom, guitar licks from Joe's songs and Steve's songs. For a bathroom it sounds great.
