Big shout out to Scott for putting together this little behind the scenes video! This took place a few weeks ago when I filmed the Double RV Camping trip with Crazy Neighbor. It's a bit long, and we are working on getting a good camera setup for the extra non-camping content on this channel. Thanks everyone for stopping by!

Beautiful Wife is missed very much. I for one would like to hear stories about Jess. Keeping her alive, because her presence is still keenly felt. The great sadness that surrounds Steve is tangible. No matter how busy we keep ourselves, our system is still adjusting and our thoughts naturally go to our departed loved ones. Scott is a gem! His vibe is delightful. Hello Crazy Neighbour and Lady Friend! This was a great watch.

The stealth camping definitely got me to sub, but now? It's all you Steve. I watch because you are an open and kind soul, doesn't really matter what you're doing, I just get a lot of peace from watching you navigate this weird little planet. Glad to hear thing are getting a little better for you buddy. My daughter died in 2007 and I felt my life would never recover, spent years dipping in and out of depression, addiction and self destruction but slowly over time things gradually got a little easier. The good memories of our time together started to out weigh the trauma and I found I could smile again without feeling guilty. Even now I still have bad days full of tears but as you said yourself keeping your mind and yourself active is the real key. We all love you and are here for you, if you need advice, support or anything just give us a shout. Thankyou for al your wonderfull videos you make the world a brighter place for so many of us.

Hard to tell from the vid but just in case you don't know to do this: criss cross your hitch chains under the hitch and receiver so that in case the ball assembly fails, the tongue should catch the chains and stay off the ground so the trailer is less likely to toe down and flip toward you. Astonished how many people never learned this trick.

FEEDBACK: this is exactly why i watch camping with steve. nothing scripted, genuine just hunkering down! listening to the rain pinkering and hanging out by the fire. for the last 8 months or so i miss this. I feel you are always apologizing for not having a better video (and that takes away from it) I love to watch you cook and I eat with you guys (through pandemic which is still ongoing in LA, we get lonely and you were my company. Please make sure videos like this. longer and just hanging out. no apologizing, please cook just hot dogs at times or stew other times, both are fun to watch and we get the ambience. We miss Jess with you so this is healing you as well! We see your red noses and your watering eyes we know its still hard, but the mroe you are here the better it is for you and us.

You always make every video look so smooth and effortless. It never occurred to me that there's so much that goes into it. You obviously put a lot of thought and effort into what you do. It's definitely appreciated.

Geeze Louise. I never realized all that went into making your videos, Steve. You make it look way more simple than it is. I guess that's an art form in itself; making it look effortless. What a sweet guy, filming the behind the scenes stuff. It's easy to see why he was the chosen one. I'm so happy you have someone to lean on for some things now. Do you ever list the camera gear you use? I'd love to know what that gimbal was. The camera looks more advanced than what I imagined you were filming with, too. I’ve experienced such years, for far too long. The only thing that got me out of years of depression & grief, was when a friend took me aside & told me “Do you not see that you dishonor the deceased by not living every day to its fullest?” That was years ago. I don’t think I would still be around to even know who Steve was, if not for that friend’s words of wisdom. Enjoy every day. Do it for those who cannot.

I love this with all the little stories, you struggling with the blinds, finding only gluten-free fish batter... Keep it up, I feel like many people don't realize how much work goes just into PREP for a camp, let alone documenting it and then editing it, and then uploading it. It isn't to scare anyone away from trying, it is just the realities of how it goes.

This was wonderful!! I Love the lil one liners Crazy Neighbour comes up with...fairies dancing!!! One of the best! Thank you Scott for doing such an awesome job. All 3 of you guys are the genuine, real deal! It's amazing that there are some people out there that try so hard to make content that they end up straying so far away from who they actually are. Yet Steve and Crazy Neighbour just do their thing, and, to be honest it's the most entertaing content compared to what is on t.v, streaming etc. To get to see everything that goes on on a Camping with Steve vid was pure joy!! THANK YOU so much. And Scott, to see and hear the sincerity in your thankfulness to Steve and CN shows that you are most certainly a beautiful soul too! Thank you once again and can't wait to see more of anything from guys!! Peace and Love from Australia

OMGosh! I LOVED THIS!! Just totally fun, but it also shows all the work and logistics you put into everything. I'd no idea! I don't know what I was thinking, you just make it looks so easy and casual, just like sitting down a sharing a cold one with a friend. This was just a fun time, getting to see everything. I have a much deeper appreciation of the work, but I'm still going to use your videos for my unwind and decompress entertainment because it just helps me to keep plugging along.
