Can all finger cymbals be played in the 2 ways you showed? Most were like T, but for the Meinl you used a different technique. Can you do T on the Meinl, or the way you played the Meinl on other finger cymbals? Or would doing so damage them?

They can be played both ways, but in this circumstance, the meinl sounded better the way we chose to play it. We thought it was a better representation of the sound.
