Looked to me like the dad walked off so that he wouldn't do something he regretted like punch her in her very punchable face. I think Steve was wrong to say what he said to him after he read the results just to get him back out on stage.

Steve definitely channels his anger at the wrong person sometimes. This father definitely did the right thing by walking away but then Steve goading him by saying that "walking away was wrong ", that could have ended up badly. The "mother" definitely deserves a significant jail sentence but also for Steve to have a go at the mothers auntie, that was also wrong as she wasn't there and was clearly hoping her niece hadn't done the unthinkable. Steve definitely needs anger management classes if he can't handle doing shows like this.

It's as though the auntie was in disbelief that her niece could do something so horrific. It appears she was not thoroughly convinced, even after the reports. If anything, she should have been in full support of the baby, who is a real victim. Steve reacted the way he did in defense of the baby. Too many little souls end up broken, battered and killed, so it should enrage anyone who loves children. Leeann

That is an intense burn! You have to literally hold the cigarette and press it into the skin. Anyone who smokes knows how easily it is for the tip or cherry to fall off, so whoever did this purposely tried to burn that baby. I have seen people who accidentally ran into a cigarette and it is not circular.

I was burned by one when I was a kid, was at a 4th of July party, super crowded area. The guy immediately apologized, and everyone around tried to help me take care of it. I didn't have much a mark from it, I don't have a scar from it. This poor baby will likely have that for life. Definitely very forced burn. I hate this lady and hope she gets a long time in jail.

I was accidentally burned by a cigarette when I was a kid. I was running around the house with a friend as my mom was talking to his mom in the living room. @@crimsonmckenzie98 I can't see a near perfect circle of that depth being an "I nodded off and it just touched his skin" Circles like that are like you held it straight and flat to the flesh. @@thatvalensteingirlnot just touching, If she dropped it or was in her hand while on the baby, it would burn him like that. I've done it to myself 😅 I think she fell asleep and she dropped it on the baby or it was in her hand when she dozed off right on his skin. Or the cherry came off and was sitting on his leg. When I was a child, my mom moved back in to look after me when my dad was in jail. I was around 8. She would accidentally burn me with cigarettes all the time. And they were actual accidents and I just took it because that’s the type of person I was and am. That shit hurt though, even for a split second. I thought it was “normal” because I grew up with her smoking all the time and thought it was inevitable because I was always near her. But as I got older I remembered when my dad smoked he aways kept it away from me and he never burned me. When I got pregnant I quit and then started again during my PPA/PPD. I never smoked near my daughter or in the car and never burned her either. I recently quit again. She had to have held it there for it to be that bad of a burn.

Glad CPS did their job for once and took the child! Some BIRTHGIVER'S abuse they're kids daily, have multiple people report it (along with proof) and have multiple visits where CPS is involved. Yet, they continue getting they're case closed saying the allegations are "unfounded." Only for later to sadly be killed by them 😤

She said it was a rug burn. If she used any other excuse other than rug burn than yea people might believe her. Feel bad for her kid I accidentally got burnt by a cigarette my dad left on the table and my dumbass didn’t see it when I was holding on the table and that was a quick second and it hurt like hell for a couple of hours. Imagine getting intentionally burn like this evil did to the kid.

It’s not the fact that kids can get hurt or that it couldn’t be anything else. It’s the fact that she is doubling down on it being a rug burn. Don’t let the name rug burn confuse you- it’s actually friction from the rug that causes scratches on the skin. It’s not an actual burn.

I don't have the best temper. I was an athlete, I was in the military, my father was aggressive. I was always rewarded for aggressive behavior. I'm a single dad to a 3 year old boy... I've NEVER laid a hand on my son outta anything but love. I have never hit my son, I've never hit my dog or my cat. There are certain things as a man that you do not do and one of them is pick on people or animals that cannot defend themselves. Burning a baby with a cigarette is sick. That is a sick thing to do. And while I've never hit a woman if I ever saw a woman burn a baby with a cigarette you bet your ass I'd slap her into next week.

The picture showing the child's knee tells you that it's a circular burn. Being that small, it only means one thing: the lit cigarette was put on the child and held there for a while. It wasn't laid on the child, it was held by hand with the lit portion facing down. The story the mother was giving didn't make any sense. "She was breastfeeding her son and he fell down on the floor". If this really happened, there would have been bruising on the child's body. The medical report didn't state this. They also waited several days before bringing the child to see a doctor. The scab on the child is very dark also. I hope that the mother spends more then 2 years in jail for what she's done because she's not fit to be a mother. I also hope that they send her to classes for child rearing as well.

When i was in high school, there was this girl i dated for about 5 and a half years and she had one of those fake babies for a parenting class in school cause she wanted to be a mother real bad, but after a week, the babys head came clean off and she failed the class. She claimed the babys head just fell off, but when i spoke to her teacher, she said it was brand new and would take a whole lot of force to pull off that particular fake babys head, and i knew from then, she wouldnt be a suitable mother to a real child if she ever had one. She'd be a homicidal one after a week. Better to find out from a fake baby than a real one, I say..

Is it possible that she lied about smoking with the child. She may have dropped a lit cigarette on the floor and the baby fell onto it? How the hell you can let a one month old baby fall from your arms is beyond my comprehension. She may not have deliberately held a cigarette to burn the baby if he fell onto it, but she would sure know how it was done.
