My first baby was colicky & cried non stop. We were living in a little mining town in Western Australia, where I was new to, knew nobody & had no support. This was 40yrs ago & I was beside myself. One day while my husband was at work I lost the plot & was so scared I’d shake her BUT I put her in her bassinet & walked away for a couple of minutes. Had a good cry then went back & cuddled her. I was breastfeeding, sleep deprived & had the baby blues but under no circumstances could I have hurt her. There is never an excuse to take your frustrations out on a child.

@Amber-yq9ee2 ай бұрын
I imagine that was VERY tough! You did the right thing! It's hard tho & we feel guilty & doubt ourselves! I have 4 kids & they all were separated by about 4y until the last 2 who are 2y apart & I was in a very bad place health wise & wasn't supposed to be able to have anymore. After giving birth to my last baby who was roughly a week old & I had my 2yo son in bed w\us, I struggled. I was breastfeeding & this was my only girl & she was NOT feeding right & cranky & crying all the time. This night she was inconsolable & I knew she was hungry my breasts were engorged & painful & I'm trying everything & so frustrated & feeling like a failure & in a ton of pain & so freaking tired. & Her crying woke my 2yo up & now he's crying & scared. So, I'm rocking my daughter & trying to soothe her & get her to eat or suck a paci or sleep & now I've got 1 arm around an inconsolable 2yo who starts crying louder & louder & I'm halfway holding him to my side bc he wanted to climb into my lap & have me rock him like I'd always done but I'm holding a crying newborn & both are screaming & unhappy! & I just BROKE! I started full on sobbing w\them just holding them both to me & rocking back & forth (not vicious or hard) just rocking & sobbing & praying for it to stop feeling like the BIGGEST FAILURE on the planet! Worst Mother! & The pitiful part? I was staying w\my parents so they could help me. Idk why I didn't get up & wake 1 of them & ask them to help w\1 or the other. Maybe bc , this was my 4th baby & I was embarrassed & felt like I should have this down pat idk! But all the sudden the door opens & my Mom walks in to all 3 of us rocking & sobbing & she's so bewildered! She's like WHY DIDN'T U GET ME?? So she takes my 2yo who calms down & goes to sleep & I settle the newborn! But I'll NEVER forget that night & how HORRIBLE it was & how frustrated & insane I felt! & NEVER not 1X did it EVER cross my mind to hurt 1 of them or even really be mad at them! Thankfully I had an apt the next day w\her Dr & we figured out her feeding problem. The lactation lady knew right away but had me show her & she checked everything. Turns out my little girl was just VERY IMPATIENT & STUBBORN! B\F takes a few sucks to draw the milk & she would get too pissed & fed up to keep sucking to get the milk & just scream at me. Lol! So I wld make her a little bit of formula & let her get a good mouthful & then put her to my breast & by the time she swallowed all the formula, the milk was coming & SHE was a VERY Greedy piglet! 😂 But it worked like a charm & never had another problem w\that! I'm sure all Mom's have a moment where they were tired & pushed to the brink & had to ask for help, or walk away & breathe a few moments. We're human! But hurting an innocent baby who is just upset & no other way to communicate? EVIL! Glad u made it thru! 💕💕💕💕

It was very apparent from the way he came on hanging his head, shuffling and pacing, plus the obvious anxiety, that the man was feeling very guilty and fearful of exposure. It's easy to see this behaviour as remorse but we have to remember that he could have admitted what he did, not taken a test, not gone on national tv and just been honest but instead he went to great lengths to continue the deception and the false narrative. The woman has even LOST ALL HER CHILDREN which may not have happened if he had owned up that it was his fault. This man is not remorseful and his lies are more important to him than 5 children keeping their mother.

the mom knew deep down, she knew, the fact she said he knew I was gonna leave him if he fails. im a mom both my kids belong to my husband, but let me just say I would Stand behind my man if this ever happened, I know my husband would never ever harm our kids, he spoils em more than me, our kids one 6 one 9 months both run to him, he turns into a kid himself, im a loving caring mom but that man gets every child he meets to just adore him, my bro walked out on his 2 kids and my husband is the one they run to wen they come visit, a mother knows!!! also at 9 months they are rolly pollies. u can't leave them anywhere, he left the baby on the edge to cover up what he did, why not put the baby in the crib or leave him with mom. when my son fell at my sitters house my husband beat me to the hospital from work, he was in the lobby with a doc waiting, wouldn't let the doc leave until they said our son was fine. the fact he wasn't his shouldn't of mattered. she knew he did it and she wound hear a thud on a tile floor, she knew he was abusive. they took the kids cuz she covered up for him. thanx for coming to my ted talk,
@michaelavanduesen Жыл бұрын
@@jasmineewright228Hearing one thud doesn't equal knowing someone was abusive. Also, someone saying they'd leave if someone was abusive is just common sense and a hard boundary being placed. Then again, I've been abused so I would know how it feels and I'd never stand for it. And I make it known I will not put up with it or allow it. Doesn't mean I know they are abusive. Now, the way she was on stage, I'm 50/50. First is her seeming confident that he didn't do anything and isn't afraid to stand by him. But the other side is she could have had doubt and wanted to hide it. But she passed for not knowing and I do believe that. I think, however, she had doubts because the situation is always weird when it happens. And she should have went with those doubts so I think she's kind of a doormat to trust in what he says happened. It was never discussed if any other incidents happened with kids, so I can't gauge whether she just kept being a doormat and believing in his lies or if this was a one time incident over paternity. I think that if it's the former, you'd be more on point. But if this is a one time incident, I do think it is accurate that she didn't know. And due to the paternity issue being found out, I do think it was more likely a one time incident. She should definitely not take him back, but if she did...then she's just as disgusting.

Whenever a Compulsive/Pathological Liar says “I would never do that, Why would I do that, or just over explain themselves revolving around what they’re accused of more than likely they done what they’re getting accused of 🤦🏾♂️

the man is lying he knows exactly what he did to his child he just needs to stop with the fake tears and admit the truth he needs to go to jail and think about what he has done.

I can't believe that he put a 9mobth old on a bed! That age of course could fall off a bed.

No way can baby sustain those injuries from falling off a bed. I was a teen mom and had left my son on a bed not realising that as he got older he could roll off. He fell off and was crying, he had a small bump but other than that he had no severe injuries. He was younger than this baby too mustve been 4months old. It happened to my other son too, when his brother jumped near him on the bed and he fell off, he was probably 8 months or so. Again no injuries sustained. It seems he knew the baby wasnt his and wanted him gone!

I have 4 kids & it can be overwhelming. You have to have a lot of time & patience, kids will be kids. However, it would NEVER cross my mind to shake/hurt a child. Especially my own children. This is sick, I hope his aśs gets thrown in jail 😡

I don't know how one brings themselves to hit a child. I'd feel like such a god damn coward. How do they live with themselves after?

My nephew fell off the back of a recliner when he was 2 and the floor was concrete ...he cracked his skull and had a small bleed ! I never would have thought a fall from that height could do that kind of injury ! But he was a toddler that was able to jump and flip and crawl up on the back of the chair ..this baby was only 9 months old and his story never made sense !!

Is it possible that when the baby fell off the bed and he saw he baby was unconscious that he - distressed and unthinking - shook that wee baby to wake him up? The baby should NEVER have been left in a situation where he could fall off the bed to start with.

When he was reanacting what happened he litterally made a shaking motion when he was holding the baby out in front of him. Even if your trying to lie those things slip through

We all went passed the fact that he wasn't lying about the baby falling off the bed, weird. Its pretty messed up he didn't confess to cps and he let them think his wife was possibly guilty and allowed the kids to be taken
@VegasLady81 Жыл бұрын
I believe that once you find out your wife is pregnant, you should sign up for first aid classes, and CPR classes. Those classes will teach you how to do CPR on a baby, and yes, it is way different from doing CPR on an older person. You all should do this, in case you ever encounter this kind of situation, that is, if you're not an abusive asshole and your kid really did fall off the bed due to your own negligence. No parent is perfect, we all know that, but come on. Take these courses if you know you're gonna have kids. If this guy did abuse the baby, I'll be so pissed.
