I remember when my daughter was about 4 months old, she was going through bad colic. I hadn't slept in what felt like forever and was struggling. One day I looked at my mom and asked her if she could watch my daughter for a couple days because I was in no fit state. Even on 0 sleep, barely eating and a lot of tears, I knew the safest option was to disengage before I did something stupid due to lack of sleep. Wasn't easy, all that goes through your head is "I'm a failure as a mom" but you know what? It's so so much better to admit to needing that help than not. Mom had her for a few days while I got myself sorted. Even after that I asked for classes etc. To help me learn to cope better. My kiddo is 7 now and honestly she's my best friend. Even in my worst moments I can't imagine ever hurting her. My ex isn't really around but even he wouldn't harm her. Anyone who could do that deserves to be put down like a rabid animal.

What a Grade-A POS. The way the friend described what this coward did to that baby was heart-wrenching. The damn friends cared more about that baby than its own parents did. When I hear about people shaking babies, it makes my blood boil.

I knew 100% right when he showed up he did it. Piece of shit human! Shame on the mother (not the good mom) too! She's guilty as hell!
