Stevie Ann started doing her cover of Britney the same year Britney (technically a team of writers, Britney can’t write her own name let alone a song) within a year of the song coming out in 2004. This take of Stevie done for a radio program Giel Beelen’s NPO 3FM in 2005, which is when I discovered it and started to play this version. Alex and Sierra played their (shitty) version of this in 2013, if you even look at this upload it’s from 2011, two years before that, and it’s a reupload of the original upload from 2005(ish) to, at the time, a very young KZbin. Those are the facts, though maybe you’re like Trumple Thinskin and the Trump cult cucks all fact-adverse or “alternate facts” whatever the fuck those are. Stevie Ann did this version of Toxic first and best, it’s her arrangement that went viral before viral was a thing in 2005. Sorry to burst your bubble. Carry on.

Stevie’s version here may have been actually filmed here in 2006 not 2005, for Giel’s Dutch radio show. Either way, facts matter. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
