The Hart Foundation did. The Anvil was Strength, Bret was speed, stamina, they both had chemistry and Jimmy Hart was charisma. The APA was also better than Harlem Heat in my opinion despite not having "speed" but Booker wasn't as fast as Stevie says he was nor was Stevie very fast either.

You can make a valid arguement for Harlem Heat, Steiners, Road Warriors, or The Dudley Boys/Team 3-D as the greatest tag team ever. Really can’t go wrong with any of those teams. Ya know, that's one thing you can say about WCW/NWA. They always had a lot of great tag teams. Harlem Heat, Road Warriors, Midnight Express, Rock N Roll express, The Steiners, The Andersons, (I'm sure i'm failing to mention some other great ones as well). They may have also performed in WWE and other companies, but their peaks were with WCW/NWA. As a kid, I always loved the tag teams. I'm probably biased towards NWA tho. I just liked it better than WWF back then.

Hawk and Animal were long destroying teams in every federation, around the world, and in Japan as well before Harlem Heat were a house hold name. Also the Road Warriors have won every championship wherever they went, and for the record not against jobbers but legitimate teams. You must me young and wet behind the ears still, Im 41 and have been watching wrestling since 1981, when WWF was known as WWWF back then, and I also watched the AWA, NWA-WCW, and New Japan wrestling.

I loved Harlem Heat and as a former athlete I understand where Stevie Ray was coming from. When you're a serious competitor you have to believe that you are the absolute best and no-one can compare to you. With that being said, The Road Warriors are the greatest tag team.... Ever!!! Hands down!!! Any era, Any territory.No-one and I do mean no-one will ever be able to FUCK with them!! As Hawk once said"We are walking death"!!!!

Whatever you say. In my humble opinion the road warriors were the best tag team to ever step in the ring. Neither Hawk or Animal were as agile as some of today's wrestlers or as skilled as a Brett Hart let's say, but from the moment their Iron Man song came on...the electricity they brought into an arena...no other tag team has ever done that.

When you think about it Harlem Heat was the better team in ring wise they could dominate and perform at a high athletic rate, LOD was good but alot of what put them over were squash matches with the same style every time. I look and Harlem Heat the same way as a LOD, Hardyz or Dudley's but coming out of the era of Squash matches they were the team that could go especially with the Steiners or Lex and Sting.

Harlem Heat with Sherri is very very much underrated. One thing about Harlem Heat is that were authentic,Stevie Ray here seems like the same Stevie Ray from 1994/1995. A lot of the black guys Vince hires tend to.......act like what a white writer would would write a black man as rather than actually being a black man. I saw them at the Sportatorium in like 92 cause my dad use to get free tickets. He says his step dad was a bouncer or bodyguard there when he was a kid but his mom wouldn't let him wrestle cause she was scared the government would take away their welfare but that turned my dad in to a huge pro wrestling lover

As much as I respect Harlem Heat as a tag team. They never won major championship belts in all regions. Which Road Warrios did. They also didn't have the longevity as the LOD RW did. They - after awhile learned how to combine strength and speed into their matches.
