FrowningIke you really can’t judge them like that. I love hendrix and I love Stevie. Stevie is my favorite guitar player because I can play his music. But Hendrix is, was and always will be the best guitarist this world has ever seen. I recommend you go watch “Music is Win” he has a video entitled “The greatest guitar player of all time” and you will see why, without anyone’s biased opinion, Hendrix is the best of all time.

Hey, Tae! What a great new artist for your channel. Stevie Ray Vaughan is considered the G.O.A.T. to many many people for his playing. He passed away in the early 90's in a helicopter crash. If you want to check out more, he did 2 exceptional covers of Jimi Hendrix "Voodoo Child" & "Little Wing". For Little Wing I prefer the studio version just for clarity of the music but his live version was to die for. For Voodoo Child use the video where he is dressed all in black, & for Little Wing where he is dressed in this shirt with a wild pattern. I saw him in concert a few times, and he blew your mind each and every time. Another great by him is "Tin Pan Alley" ft. Johnny Copeland Live. He is credited for bringing straight blues back into the mainstream after it had declined the 70's.

Eric Clapton on SRV: We played on the same bill on his last two gigs. On the first night, I watched his set for about half an hour and then I had to leave because I couldn't handle it," Clapton admitted years later. "I knew enough to know that his playing was just going to get better and better. His set had started, he was like two or three songs in, and I suddenly got this flash that I'd experienced before so many times whenever I'd seen him play, which was that he was like a channel. One of the purest channels I've ever seen, where everything he sang and played flowed straight down from heaven. Almost like one of those mystic Sufi guys with one finger pointing up and one finger down. That's what it was like to listen to. And I had to leave just to preserve some kind of sanity or confidence in myself."

Stevie Ray Vaughn gets up in the morning, puts on his snakeskin boots, his 10-gallon hat, and his leopard skin coat, gets in the limo and goes to the gig for sound check. Gets to the sound check, scratches his balls, farts. . Puts on guitar, yawns, picks his nose and then proceeds to DEMOLISH THE STADIUM! Not even a "1. . 2. . 3" count-in to start playing. . . Just BAM! Plays better for a sound check than most "musicians" could ever hope to approach in their LIFETIME!!!
