Stern asked some inane questions but Stevie handled it like a gentleman. God rest his soul.💙 Thanks for posting.

Even in his silence, SRV says more than Stern ever could. He was polite and answered with consideration for all his peers, friends and fans 'cuz he was a great human being. Miss him every single day! 😥 💔

I bet if Stern listened to his old interviews he’d be utterly embarrassed. Stevie was as cool as the other side of the pillow here. Always. RIP SRV.

Man, I cry over this man all the time! Am i crazy? My daughter asks, "Momma, why are yiu so OBSESSED with him?" "Well, Katie, cause he's was the best damn guitarist on this planet, in my op." Not to mention a humble human being.

He is. Wrote a whole book about it. Said he can’t listen to his old stuff because it’s humiliating. Changed man

I'll take the crass Howard Stern that made him a radio phenom over the woke lib that his old audience no longer claims.

The man had a chance to talk to one of the top five guitarist in the world and couldn’t show him proper respect.... at least Stevie was a class act.

Howard Stern interviews today are way more cantering to the guest than when this was recorded. I think Howard may have sold out for fame and money. Also I agree that he had perhaps the greatest guitar player right in front of him and never asked great questions. RIP Stevie Ray.
@blok310922 жыл бұрын
Man Howard said the opposite of everything he should have been saying to Stevie and was so offensive. I’d imagine Howard couldn’t even listen to this interview today and if he did, he would be cringing.

I don’t understand why people always hate on stern yet watch his interviews. That’s his character. You don’t think his guest don’t already know this before agreeing to go in the show? They know what to expect. He praises SRV guitar talent quite a few times, promotes his new album on the show. He is also a generous humanitarian. Gets involved with social issues by using his show and money to help the underprivileged. If you despise him that much, why watch his interview?
