Fantastic stuff! And BRUTHA! You destroy any excuse of guys saying they can't play because of big hands or fat fingers. You are shredding with those bear paws!! Dayumm!

@@blacksouthernrocker thanks for replying, i love SRV and i come across your videos and i love these little lesson videos, if i had a request it would have to be one on "Life without you", I've been trying to play on a set of 13's and I've go no idea how Stevie did it haha
@blacksouthernrocker Жыл бұрын
Man let me reconfirm but understand by '89 Stevie was using 12's, don't quote me lemme go back and research! Pretty sure 13's were for a period of time not his entire career! @@Jake-id9hg

Question? how do i get my hair like that?
@blacksouthernrocker Жыл бұрын
Hello my friend, basically I use Carefree Curl- Curl Rearranger to straighten my hair (using Hawaiian Silky curl reconstructor) Carefree curl booster (just comb straight don't curl basically) and then rinse and Hawaiian Silky (or Carefree Curl) Neutralizing Solution 10min rinse I do in shower!!! I then for everyday just use Hawaiian Silky 14 in 1 !!!!
@kelinjohnson7421 Жыл бұрын
@@blacksouthernrocker Thanks ill have to try that. I dream of becoming a guitarist and want the hair to go with it lol.

Hey Chris, when Stevie would jam with other musicians did he tune his guitar up to E or did they just play in keys that were accessible to all? (Not Eb)
@blacksouthernrocker3 жыл бұрын
Hello to you Jrbr 549!! YES is the answer to your question! Most common place that everybody is familiar with is when Stevie Ray Vaughan And Albert King In Session 1983 there both play in standard tuning! Old school Blues players often call out the key before start , example 'Don't You Lie To Me' Albert says " G....key of G"

Hey Chris, love your playing, is your srv strat custom made or is it an srv signature? Also what pickups are in it? Btw your hands are huge just like stevie 🤘🏻✌🏻
@blacksouthernrocker3 жыл бұрын
Man super appreciate the love my friend really do! This SRV Strat I'm playing in this video I made myself not sure exactly what pickups are in it! I met Stevie in 1989 and YES his hands are like exactly my size ....but he is much shorter than me!!
