Actually I watch the concert and they're not laughing. And also I would believe and assume I'm not saying this is correct I'm just making a educated guess anyway Stevie Wonder cries because his friend Michael Jackson died and also loses his first tribute supposedly what people say this is his first tribute to Michael Jackson. Stevie misses him so he's crying.

I saw him during his Songs in the Key of Life tour this past year. He started the show like 2 hours late, but told the crowd it was because one of his band members was found unconscious in his hotel room. Stevie was emotional the whole concert, and in the middle of Joy Inside My Tears he started crying. You could feel the emotion everywhere in the stadium. It was truly a special concert.

Wow, that’s tough. Just shows how dedicated his fans are. You and everyone else there I’m sure would’ve made it so you were comforting him and his band rather then the usual him comforting everyone else by performing. He’s a true legend, when his time comes I don’t know what the word will do. We already lost MJ, if we lose him before he’s due to go (which should be never), then music will be never the same again

I remember when Stevie did this number for the first time barely a week after Michael died at the Montreal Jazz fest....it was a last minute thing added to the set so he forgot some words, but it was still a highlight
