I'm always amazed by the brain's ability to pick up on these things. I was listening to Part Time Lover when I realized it sounded like Maneater, so I had to check KZbin. I can always hear when a piece of music was sampled from another song.

So weird that there is a mash up of these, and thank you for doing so, I have been humming man eater for days and when I really get into it I am singing it out loud. But by the time I finish singing I am part time lover. So it's not just me then....these songs and the BPM are very similar. Cheers and great work mate. Well I know it's too late. Anyways if you check in the production section of Wikipedia page of the song, you can see them mentioning Motown influence. And coincidentally an old supremes song(not the only one though) has similar bass. It's clearly a case of artistic coincidence.
