I can't believe what God has done giving to us one as lovely as he. Stevie was blessed before he was born to heal us and lift us up with God's love, joy and healing. Jesus said "you will know them by their fruit." Stevie is a true messenger of God's love. You don't have to believe in God to be touched. You know it when it happens. Weir sang "cuz even a blind man knows when the sun is shining or the rain is falling because he can feel it." Much better, Garcia sang "comes a time when the blind man takes your hand and says don't you see? Don't give it up, got an empty cup only love can fill. Only love can fill." You won't hear his kind of message in any prosperity gospel white evangelical "Christian" church. Go back all the way with this guy. Rocked television by having people of color on national TV on Sesame St doing Superstition. Little brothers of color boogeying above his band. Brother is an American hero. Never spoke anything but truth and love probably more beautifully than any of his contemporaries. Muchos respeto

I've been a fan of Stevie for almost as long as I've enjoyed music. My first memory of hearing him was "My Cherie Amour", in 69 when I was 11 years old. I came to this footage half expecting to find that Stevie's voice would be showing signs of cracking, but no! What a joy: a fabulous live performance. What an amazing talent he is. So good to see people of all ages enjoying his vibe. Long live Stevie! If you want to smile again at this man, check out his Carpool Karaoke with Jams Cordon, always makes me happy.

. I was a student the University of Oklahoma in the Winter of 1977, the Sooners were playing Missouri at home. My second oldest brother and his friend from LA wanted to go to the game to watch quarterback Thomas Lott go to work on the Missouri Tigers. I stayed in the jock dorms across the street at Jefferson House and decided to set out the game. And you could roar of the crowd as the game progressed. Then suddenly you hear the Pride of Oklahoma band play one of the hit song from Songs in the Key of Life ‘Sir Duke.’ I thought Stevie had created a double album of some amazing music and a bonus was a 45 record with the song isn’t she lovely. I heard it being played first in one the football players room on a fabulous stereo system. (The song was a dedication by Stevie for his newborn daughter). Anyways back to the game. My brother came back trying to contain his excitement but went on and on about the song Sir Duke and the way the Sooners played. Then sometime this year I was listening to a special on you tube how Stevie got with all these gifted musician to create this masterpiece.. Stevie is the greatest singer - musician song writer of all time. LB July 31, 2021

Joyous, blissful music celebrating new life. In the entire world of music, this one, in my mind, is the one that best reaches everyone with a sense of "wonder," beauty, and hope. Stevie is truly a musical genius - not just because he is a master musician on multiple instruments, but because his compositions speak to the heart and the mind. This song is all heart, though. As harmonicas go, he plays a chromatic harp, which, technically, is like flying a 747 - compared to Dylan's single-engine Cessna. He makes it come to life with his breath - literally. He speaks through it with wonder and compassion - asking us to acknowledge the beauty of a newborn. It is a language I heartily wish I could speak - but that I am just grateful to understand and appreciate. It teaches me that I still have much to learn. It's November of 2022, and we need a lot of Stevie Wonder now. Listen to "Isn't She Lovely."
