Actually, take a listen. Jodeci sang the verses in the wrong order and/or skipped verses, then Stevie came in and just sang the missing verses when it was his turn. He corrected on the fly. Seamless

I think Mary was caught up with emotion at 3:23, which she had to stop singing for a few seconds before she was able to sing with the group again. You can actually feel it if you put yourself there. I think this song touched her personally, since she struggled with drugs early on in her career. How great was it that she was able to sit next to an R&B icon and sing a song that related to her personal experience.

Such a great performance. K-Ci could really blow back then. He can still sing now, but it's not the same. Back then he would sing so effortlessly...the power and soul in his voice was so addictive. Memories. You don't see nobody singing quite like him these days....

Stevie said "Everybody remember the words." And they didn't. Funny. Papa still went with it. I love how he's vibing with these younsta's. Probably reminds him of when he was a tike around Smokey and Marvin. Great footage.

Yeah at that time she was really going through it. Those were her rough times she sang about and talks about in interviews. Listen to her song My Life. You can hear and definitely feel her pain in that one. I think this is a Lil bit before she made that song.

Ur right.K-ci just changed up his style. There is a radio interview of him on here and he sang forever my lady acapella he sounded exactly like the record version like he was 21 all over.I think he is really comfortable and feeling his matured voice. Bobby Brown did the same thing and i saw a clip of him singing like he was 19 and it blew me away. All kinds of folks on the net saying he lost his voice but he got it still.
