"Happy Birthday" is one of Stevie's most enduring hits, and since the Queen's birthday is officially celebrated in the UK in June, it was an appropriate song for his set. I liked how he reworded "Isn't She Lovely" for the jubilee ("A young 86 year old").. priceless. Stevie is known for creating brand new songs on the spot.

The Queen celebrates two birthdays each year!!! Queen Elizabeth was born on 21 April 1926. The Queen usually spends her birthday privately however the occasion is marked publicly by gun salutes in central London in Hyde Park, at the Windsor Great Park and at the Tower of London. The Queen’s official birthday is held on a Saturday in early June. To celebrate a spectacular Trooping the Colour parade is always held, which travels between Buckingham Palace.

I will not accept these sacastic replics. I was just trying to explain, that Stevie Wonder means much more for the world, then your Queen. I am not american, for intansce. You just have to know history of late twentyth century. Stevie is a standard bearer for every musician and singer. It is one of the most significant moments when he gets on the stage. And you say, that another Artist would play enstead and the Diamond Jubilee would be the same.

Motown & The Royal Family have always had this mutual appreciation society. The Supremes met The Royal Family and in 1971 when they did their first Trip to The UK The Jackson Five met the Queen Mother as well as Queen Elizabeth in future years. Princess Diana was a big fan of Michael Jackson's Music as well.

The Queen made the real transition from an imperial organisation to a free association of countries which shared historic links, democratic interests, culture, economic and military interests. Nowadays, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK are everlasting alleys that cooperate in education, economic, military and humanitarian affairs, thanks to the Queen. If that isn't changing the world for good, then i don't know what is. And no i don't ''Love'' The Queen, i respect her.

Trooping The Colour (The Queen's Official Birthday) "will be held on Saturday 16th June 2012 on Horse Guards Parade" according to the Trooping The Colour website. So an early birthday present, you might say if you were being generous. Though I don't really think they thought that all through.. And she's not "Your Highness" either!

Queen's 'official' birthday moves around and can be celebrated anywhere from the end of May to the beginning of June. In fact, the Spring Bank Holiday was established partially to celebrate her birthday (and that holiday was moved to...oh yes...yesterday).

That is taking my words out of context, i said if Stevie didn't play at the concert, someone else would have played instead, which is true, the concert wouldn't have stopped for one man, however great they are. I never said it would have been the same. Looking at your channel you are obviously a huge Stevie wonder fan, because of this obsession you think of him as a god. I think it is unfair to compare The Queen & Stevie wonder, since when has The Queen been a famous musician.? lol

Maybe compared to the album versions, but yes Stevie is indeed a genius!

Even the queen looked like she was enjoying it at the end - Well if I was her I would be thinking "Fuckin Hell! - Stevie Wonders outside my house singing to me and there's a crowd going nuts on my drive!" Highlight of the concert by far (accept Will.I.Am randomly popping up and shuffling off again??? )

The Queen's official Birthday (Trooping the Colour) is on Sat 16 June this year. So singing Happy Birthday is NOT inappropiate.

What a class act Stevie Wonder is! Not sure he Will I Am was joking when he wished her happy birthday or was just oblivious 😂
@VideosFromMe201012 жыл бұрын
The Queen technically has two birthdays. The only mistake Stevie made was calling her 'your highness' as this is only used for a Prince, Princess, Duke, Dutchess, etc the Queen is 'your Majesty'. Stevie was AMAZING & better than the newer acts that were performing. Stevie is living proof that talent never fades!
