Stevie Wonder has his own clever ways of switching between major and minor in "If You Really Love Me". Let's explore them.

Best tutorial I've seen! I love the way you usr the roman numbers and show the chords slowly so I can actually see and learn the sections, the way you split them up! Please do more stevie wonder songs. I feel he is one of the great treasures of our time! Thanks! Great work! I subscribe too!

I absolutely love the verse on this song. Interesting to see a harmonic analysis and kind of explains why I find it so pleasurable.

Yo I really enjoyed this video and picking up my guitar and jamming along (really helpful when my chord charts fail me to see you notes on the piano!) I don’t really know your constraints as far a copyright stuff but it would be cool to have you play on the keys through the progression in time after you’ve explained it, even without the original track, to get a chance to play along with the flow of things. Anyways you totally earned the sub, awesome content and maybe I’m the only one jamming along, but I’m having a blast man!

Love your videos! One minor suggestion would be to be careful with your superscripts to make it easier to follow along. For example, the viewer can get sometimes confused between E^(b9#11) and Eb^(9#11).

Very well done, Leon. Nice to see the voicing. My only regret is that you didn't mention the key change at the end, when he joyously rises up a half step (just as he did on You Are the Sunshine of My Life, My Cherie Amour, For Once in My Life, etc.)

@@urbangorilla33 Nice point, John, but a little late: I bought Innervisions the week it came out, in August 1973! (But maybe you can tell me how many times he modulates in Summer Soft?). Thanks for the comment.

would be visually more helpful to see the different hands on keys 🎹 in different colors 🎨, as well as hold the notes ever so slightly longer (or fade out the color over time after it’s played)
