Stevie Wonder is just incredible! The older I get, the more I appreciate his vocal and musical talent. He is one that has obviously taken care of his voice. I'm more impressed with Stevie and Paul Rodgers than any other singers their age. Proof, as you say, that it is possible. Also, I really enjoy your version, Ken, of "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" that you kinda of "gospelled up" (made that one up) several years ago. I remember listening to it often back when I first became aware of CCM stuff. Your music, Phil Keaggy, and Glenn Kaiser are still inspirational to me as musicians and singers. Thanks! \m/

great session with brother Stevie! Ken's uplifting energy helps one appreciate even more Stevie's uplifting energy. Stevie is great in the studio, but unbelievable live, as Ken notes. Four thumbs way up! In terms of live show that take it over the top compared to excellent studio work, how about looking at Springsteen live from say 1980 and then 2015 or so.

What You can say is He's absolutely the best! Ken, with all due respect, you have Huevos for merely trying to critique this icon. From childhood until the present. who compares as a performer, songwriter, producer, and humanitarian. BTW, I guess I'll let you of the hook regarding your expert opinion of how Joe Cocker was able to sustain his unique voice and live longer than what would've been expected. In this new world, priorities change with an alarming paradigm shift in living. However, the healing power of music and letting a song burst out if only in the shower, restores the soul. Warmest regards to you and yours.

@greg27972 жыл бұрын
Because the voice is like a muscle i'm guessing part of why Stevie, and to your point you, haven't had a major drop off with your vocals is because y'all are still actively using them on the regular. I'm guessing most older artists tend to not sing as much anymore so their voice starts breaking down. Idk, total assumption
