I feel that just like Prince was not recognized as a genius on the guitar, he was also not always credited as a mean vocalist. He ranges were off the chart. I'm glad to see someone recognized his vocal talents

Wow, that energy Prince brings on stage is simply timeless...Those amazing upper belting falsettos... He's so missed.!!!! There was Not an area he wasn't great at... The one and only...

On Prince's first albums, he sang mainly falsetto because he actually said in an interview from the time that singing deeper hurt. Never understood that. He did grow into being able to sing incredibly well in lower and higher registers and he became a master at the use of his falsetto. And his screams throughout his career were incredible. My personal favorite is the ending of ENDORPHINMACHINE which you played Ken. Incredible. Thanks Ken for making this analysis on Prince. For me personally, since I've listened to ALL of his albums and every single song from the beginning to end of his career, I can honestly say that he's the greatest musician/artist that ever lived on planet earth. Just absolutely incredible and non stop creatively since he was in his teens. He's really unbelievable in so many ways. And I think his voice kept up through the years because he had a really good diet and overall really took care of himself, even though he accidentally killed himself with pharmaceuticals (taken for pain from the many years of extreme on stage physicality) in the end.

Prince: one of the few celebs that I wept over when he passed away. He was one of my favorites; an unparalleled musical genius. And I had no idea of his stage fright; that’s shocking to learn. He seemed so confident whilst onstage. Anyways, I enjoyed the recognition of his talent. 🙏

Prince was the most metal of non metal musicians. So much of a wide variety of sounds and influenced many musicians, especially Nine Inch Nails, particularly the Pretty Hate Machine era, and more so the "Purest Feeling" era which was a year or two before PHM came out.

Another thing is that he wrote a bunch of songs that further propelled artists to the top. Practically made Sinead O'Conner a household name back in the day with "Nothing Compares 2 U".

Ps. I cry when I suddenly hear Prince as you know during Covid I loss my baby brother Russell to brain cancer and our middle brother Lance 8 months directly after while waiting for a organ donor. In our home it was music being our mother made her living through music so , one Christmas our brother Lance was scouting for a MG convertible and he found one on Christmas day! It had been snowing we all packed into it and the hood is down so it's now as if we are driving inside a snow globe with mind you little red covert, raspberry beret nothing but Prince plating. It was our last Christmas before we all married and had children. I treasure this memory and Prince . I had to share it helps with grief. Blessings I thought Prince was more voice wise like the lead singer Maurice White from Earth Wind & Fire when it comes to soul and blues what can I say , I learned from the greatest of greats.

Interesting analysis. A lot of soul singer belters use this style often from church. Still do. The falsetto and screams are often spiritual. According to the Purple Yoda himself, he was never nervous about performing. Enjoyed this, thanks.

Prince amazingly talented artist and performer. Shows so much passion in his performances and kinda get the similarities to Freddie Mercury. Off the charts Vocal range and did like a few of his mainstream songs like Purple Rain, When doves cry and kiss and he did have individuality which set his aside from other artists. Pretty sure he had much more to give musically if not for his tragic end.

Prince would take concentrated B12 vitamin supplements to give him energy. He was extremely conscious about what he put in his body. @@kentamplin My question relates to the 30-day trial. How does that work? 30-day trial is usually 30 days to try the program out, card on file but not charged until 30 days. But I can't tell if that is what yours is offering? It looks like you pay the non-refundable amount and the monthly subscription. Those are explained in the fine print that you posted above.

In relation to that performance, Tom Petty did vocals, and as yesturday was the 5 year anniversary of his death, I think a then and now of him would be really awesome.
