Edits like this one are purposefully engineered for a unique environment. The suspense, building of intensity, the breakdowns… can be MAGIC when played by a dj in the right way to packed house of funky party people. What this track is capable of is not going to be immediately apparent by playing it at home alone on your computer.

No No - trust me - I'm getting it. It's FANTASTIC. I'm constantly amazed at how incredible Stevie Wonder is. Everything he's done is just absolutely perfect production work. So this is an interesting take on his work. I LOVE IT.

in my opinion, this is just taking a brilliant song, and in whatever way Todd Terje always manages to do it, adding that bit of his own personal expressive brilliance, creating a new listening experience to thousands of music fans who already know the song. Suck it up and enjoy it, it's too good to be petty about.

Nice little tune, Don't doubt that Todd Terje can't make more upbeat when he's made one of the happiest ever tunes with Inspector Norse but this is sick! Not everything needs to be fast to make you dance! Sometimes it's fun to just sit back and listen to the music. This is amazing!

@cocainekate2006 yeah,, for sure. sounds like a bed track, and well, that's what it is. Disco Mixes pulled this off better in '77 than your computer, obviously. Never touched real tape edits eh? well that explains it.

regardless of my critisisms... A fabulous Stevie wonder track that's hard to do wrong. Bonafied classic (in it's original form>) mixing this with 2 copies is so much fun. (not on COMPUTER..2 turntables folks)

...it would serve the dance floor well if the club DJ's could finally get away from the annoying 145 BPM all night long (progressive?? how about calling it Regressive) Try mixing this with some bad ass Tanya Gardner " Heartbeat".......Paradise Garage LIVES ON !!

@brunskibeats I'm not tryin' to act like people would be run of the floor once it dropped. I'm just sayin' I know some club folk are REAL particular about specific edits, but many aren't. I assume getting a good reaction has more to do with alcohol, a noticeable track being played by a loved-by-many artist, and the fact that people are there to have a good time than it is because you played this -specific- edit. I'm thinkin' you'd probably get the same reaction had you played the original.
