Originally the soundtrack of the groundbreaking movie “Secret Life of Plants” that was based on a book of the same name, It’s about time some respect was put on this brilliant work. One of the most overlooked and underrated productions from one of the most prolific artists of the past 200 years. I could never understand why this work was so unappreciated, except that the general public just couldn’t think this deep spiritually or musically. To think that all that exists is connected. This world just wasn’t ready for such artistic honesty. They still aren’t. Thanks for doing this because it’s a difficult piece. The progression of the chords is full of discovery , exploration and contemplation. Stevie showed a lot of balls releasing something so cerebral and deliberate three years after the incredible “Songs In The Key Of Life” , now considered one if the greatest albums (double album with surprise 45 inside) of all time.
