Churr bro I drive a wagon and drag, rigid truck with a drawbar trailer in the UK. Although our roads are much narrower than out in NZ driving dollies is seriously impressive. Hoping to get out with a silage contractor and have a go. Just applied for May Brothers Harvesting down in the South island! You talked about a bottle of truckers pride in the last video, should get some on that mirror mate 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

How to back a trailer looking into a dirty mirror 😂 Nice one, steve, Terrible access
@Truckersteve1417 күн бұрын
🤣 farrrk not wrong mate as soon as the sun hit the mirror i realised how dirty it was i was like ohhh hell nah 🤬🤦♂️
@NewDriver-qg5ut17 күн бұрын
The answer is with a lot of "magical words" like Steve likes to use 😆When i have my mirrors so dirty i actually try to memmorize an object, large enough that i can still see in the mirrors, like fence pole or wall corner, and then the "magical words", but a lot, and eventually is done😂 Joke aside, Steve's reversing skills are epic! 👏

Hey mate just a question why not drop trailer down the road and tranship them with truck back to trailer wouldn't it be just as quick and less stress and not holding traffic up ?? No offense intended
@Truckersteve143 күн бұрын
@@pukarau fair question bro, sometimes do sometimes i don’t, only one place to drop trailer safely to tranship is about 10mins away and trees are starting to over grow said side road as usual 🤦♂️ would take 2x trips to empty trailer, so saves id say about an hour or so doing it this way for abit more skill usage, just need to do it at the right time of day as its only few mins from the motorway
@pukarau3 күн бұрын
@Truckersteve14 thanks for the response bro totally understandable and well done getting that 5 axle in hole like you did I know the exact feeling under that pressure it sucks glad I'm not the only one keep safe bro 👍

Yeah mate know that feeling wayy too well, as someone who beats himself up more than i thought anyone could one previous job proved that wrong, made fuckup after fuckup non stop, basicly lost my mind cause of that feeling of being watched and waiting for the next event and telling off 👀 ruined the job for me thats for sure
