Stewart’s work has really inspired us in how we now see landscapes.

Only just discovered this. I'd love to spend an afternoon in a cafe or pub just talking to Stewart about history and archaeology. I'd be spellbound by what he could tell about where we were and what it all meant.

Stewart is amazing at how he looks at the landscapes and just the surroundings of a town, and finds so much, with so little to go on..

Keep doing what you do Stewart, real passion in what you do, will always inspire. Thanks for inspiring me throughout the years.

You should do more of these walks. They would make a good series.

Great to see you back doing what you did best Stewart. Giving a real incite & understanding of the places around the digs undertaken on TT back in the day. Give us more, because "thee aint nowt better" (from one Northern bloke to another) to watch about the real British history!

Got to be Honest and say I've Learned So Much about " Landscape Archaeology " around us and Notice So Much More! Thanks to Stewart and Time Team.

Wow, I had no idea we could still see Stewart's insights. So interesting, I could learn about this stuff all day. Thank you.

Stewart had the most interesting job on TT. No geofizz, no digger, just his maps, old documents and a good eye.
@benters35094 жыл бұрын
How many times have I watched Time Team, and seen the total failure of the archaeologists and geophysics to get to the bottom of things, and thought "Steward will sort it out!" And he always did. "What is actually happening is X, Y and Z!" The most underrated of the Time Team IMHO.

honey, you do realize TT was scripted, yes?

Great video but the music in the background sounds like a native American forms a band with native Australian..lol
