I wonder what would have happened if Ford had not vetoed SHR's attempt to get Kyle Larson? I'm sure drivers like Preece, Gragson, and Berry are fine drivers in their own ways but SHR ended up with too many unproven drivers at the cup level that I believe cost them sponsorship opportunities. Then once Tony started getting into drag racing SHR was no longer a priority.

Tony went to the drags because he felt he didn't have control of his own team in NASCAR. Haas and Ford pulling rank on Larson was NOT a good thing, and Stewart didn't have a way. So damn right he found something else to make his own....

@chuckdraper7776 nah, while it is possible, I think Leah was in the Mopar camp all along when he got into the sport and Mopar really only does Drag Racing and they would romance Tony to ensure he became a Dodge guy. The way Ford pissed him off was not helping but I think Dodge was a better option was pretty much set up through Leah anyhow

SHR made their presence known with the personalities,talent and chemistry with their existence in NASCAR. That same presence will be the void in NASCAR next year. When the truth starts coming out about what the sanctioning body is really like,a lot of people will not be surprised. Smoke even said in an interview he had to watch what he said so the team didn't pay the price and he's never been afraid to speak his mind.

When Harvick left with his 40m in sponsorship the place folded, sad but that is the way nascar is now. Was very happy that Tony gave Kevin the opportunity to win one but sad that the organization has deteriorated so quickly after 2022. All the car owners just like the track owners sold to nascar. They had to sell because nascar is taking all the money. History will show nascar let the teams , fans ,drivers down. Losing SHR will be a hell of a loss to Nascar. I've always been a Tony fan, and an SHR fan since it's beginning. Nascar is dying more every year, especially now since so many can't watch the Xfinity series anymore because of the stupid CW channel that no one around here gets in NW Ohio. Her social media stunt after Sherry died last year was the final straw. She's a talentless driver, a gold digger, and just an awful, loathsome person.
