Why are there so many comments like this on every video? She's a youtuber, there's no reason anyone should assume she knows what she's doing unless she demonstrates it. While I've seen enough of her videos to trust her, I've also seen videos of other channels where people were acting like they knew what they were doing and they clearly didn't. Not to mention the many youtuber scandals where the creator was straight up lying and hiding abuse behind the scenes. NO ONE is above questioning.

There are some videos where you go through your day and I feel physically tired just watching all you do with the hay, the turds, the grooming, the hoof clipping, lugging saddles around, building shelters, chasing huckleberry, tiny snuggles, running around trying to catch Nigel, making mashes, late night vet visits, not to mention training and the shear emotional labor of it all as well. I can’t imagine doing all that during the day and then going home to do editing as well. You are superwoman! 👏👏👏

I'm so glad you are giving a realistic picture of the work and cost of horse ownership. And of the things that can and do go wrong sometimes and what it takes to fix them. You are right that there is so much that isn't glamorous in having a horse. Also, sometimes the people you learn the most from are not wearing the trendiest clothes, or using the newest gear, sometimes they're old cowboys who been around horses all their lives and learned from hard knocks, some of the people I learned most from were the older, mostly brown guys who cleaned the stalls at the houty touty stables, because when the stable owner and the horse owners weren't there, these guys were. They didn't know the educated terminology, but they knew horses, and often they knew people ,too. There's alot to be said for life experience. And I am not by any means knocking book learning or paid-for lessons, I learned from those as well, I'm saying don't discount the stuff that's not. If you're open to it, there are gems out there, they just might not look or sound like it. CC is definitely a real life experience and book learned gem!!!!

What a great comment thats how i learnt. Most people know how to ride but not many truly understand them and their needs. C.C puts the horse first and studies their individual needs. Thank you for your gentle, firm, encouraging patience with your horses and.....with folks who tend to critique a bit much. Having had one to 6 horses at my house for 20 years, I do understand the volume of behind-the -scenes work involved. And, I've worked full-time with horses prior to those 20 years, and have ridden hunt seat equitation, did some dressage, some eventing, and, over time, extensive camping/trail riding with a magical little Arabian who was much like Ziggy, albeit not such a people horse. As noted in a previous comment, he and I were an item for a number of years. Enough about me. Thank you for your love of and commitment to horses (and cat and dog), and for maintaining such a KZbin presence.

Maybe I'm just coming at this more from the pet owning side of things than the equestrian side, but I don't quite understand this idea that if your horses aren't being productive then you're doing something wrong 😅 They seem to have great lives! And watching them all grow in their own ways is lovely!
@LoveThoseTunes118 сағат бұрын

@@LoveThoseTunes11 That's true! These horses are being productive in that way and it's really great. But I also think that if it were nearly any other animal, nobody would think it was weird if you wanted to use your money and resources and knowledge to just let that animal have a happy life without that animal having a job. Obviously lots of people don't have the resources to keep a horse that's not in work, but if you do and that's what you want to do, why not?

I always admire that you own horses as much for them as you, too many people want them as a toy to play with. I had a cousin who answered his girl's pleadings for horses with a yes, BUT... The but was that they learn about them from the hooves to the nose and about proper care from growing good fields to keeping up foot health and of course clean stalls, one of them is still a fine horse owner in her 70's and has the generational offspring of the first mare they got 60 years ago.

C.C., I love watching you school your horses. Stewie and Pete behaved well. It was good to Pearl walking about. I’m sure that she’ll be fine with a number of walks. See you soon😊

😂 Tiny looking up at you like "I'M RIGHT HERE!" was cracking me up. At least she comes when called. Poor Pearl. I hope she gets more stable as she recovers fully from malnutrition.

Aww! Stewie! So sweet! He's such a handsome boy! Miss Pearl is looking good! Aww Gus!! He loves his Mom! Another handsome boy! All of the boys are handsome! The girls are beautiful too! But my favorite is the little, old, sassy man, Nigel. He still thinks he's a little stud muffin 😂😂😂!! Honey you can tell you spend a lot of time with your 4 legged babies! It shows by their behavior. God Bless you Sweetheart ❤😇

You are so thoughtful and patient. I greatly admire your approach to rehabilitating horses who others may see as misfits or worthless. And Tiny kitty likes to play along. So funny as she was romping around under the trailer while you were peeking inside calling her!

Had a laugh when you were looking for Tiny at the horsefloat. I had a kitten called feral Errol and I accidentally locked him in the tack room. He was very very happy to see me.

I loved today's video! So many beautiful horses and you take such good care of them! Love watching Stewie come along in his training and I don't think I've seen Little Gus in the Arena until now. He's such a cool little guy.

I cannot imagine anyone criticizing you. I have a number of cats and I know how much work that entails - just the basic care...feeding, cleaning litter boxes, giving them affections and loving time. Having any sort of animal involves work.

I enjoyed seeing each horse spending time with you - getting groomed and going through what moves and light challenges they can tolerate. They all have such beautiful faces - their trust in you is obvious and you have EARNED IT. Best Regards and Hope It Gets to Sticking To a Steady Lower Temp Soon - - I appreciate your concern about heating up and fungal growth in your herd - - challenging to manage through thaw spells. Best Regards and Stay Well.

I had horse as a kid. I was planning on getting a couple when my husband and I retired. But watching your videos has reminded me how much work, care, and $ they require. Which I am not able to do.
