Why are there so many comments like this on every video? She's a youtuber, there's no reason anyone should assume she knows what she's doing unless she demonstrates it. While I've seen enough of her videos to trust her, I've also seen videos of other channels where people were acting like they knew what they were doing and they clearly didn't. Not to mention the many youtuber scandals where the creator was straight up lying and hiding abuse behind the scenes. NO ONE is above questioning.

CC, I wanted to congratulate you on the success of your channel. 112K subscribers in just over 2 years is really impressive. I've gone back and watched a couple of your videos where you talked about your KZbin journey. You really did your research, and worked hard to make it a success. There are some videos where you go through your day and I feel physically tired just watching all you do with the hay, the turds, the grooming, the hoof clipping, lugging saddles around, building shelters, chasing huckleberry, tiny snuggles, running around trying to catch Nigel, making mashes, late night vet visits, not to mention training and the shear emotional labor of it all as well. I can’t imagine doing all that during the day and then going home to do editing as well. You are superwoman! 👏👏👏

I don't understand why some people get upset at your lack of riding them. I mean.. Horses weren't born in the wild with a human on their back. Sure, some find the exercise enjoyable but I'm betting they're happy to just be horses that aren't being abused or neglected.

For all of those that say you don't spend enough time with your horses just need to watch you more. Eventually they will see the many things you do, how time consuming all the chores are and earning a horses trust and confidence in you, takes a lot of time and patience. Stewie is such a nice, easygoing boy - one of those "Yeah, whatever. It's fine." kind of guys. We loved them at our rescue because, being bombproof, they were super easy to foster and get adopted. Does Pearl's belly look a little better? So right to keep her on her own, to rest and eat stress-free and without interference. I'm so glad you are giving a realistic picture of the work and cost of horse ownership. And of the things that can and do go wrong sometimes and what it takes to fix them. You are right that there is so much that isn't glamorous in having a horse. Also, sometimes the people you learn the most from are not wearing the trendiest clothes, or using the newest gear, sometimes they're old cowboys who been around horses all their lives and learned from hard knocks, some of the people I learned most from were the older, mostly brown guys who cleaned the stalls at the houty touty stables, because when the stable owner and the horse owners weren't there, these guys were. They didn't know the educated terminology, but they knew horses, and often they knew people ,too. There's alot to be said for life experience. And I am not by any means knocking book learning or paid-for lessons, I learned from those as well, I'm saying don't discount the stuff that's not. If you're open to it, there are gems out there, they just might not look or sound like it. CC is definitely a real life experience and book learned gem!!!!

Thank you for your gentle, firm, encouraging patience with your horses and.....with folks who tend to critique a bit much. Having had one to 6 horses at my house for 20 years, I do understand the volume of behind-the -scenes work involved. And, I've worked full-time with horses prior to those 20 years, and have ridden hunt seat equitation, did some dressage, some eventing, and, over time, extensive camping/trail riding with a magical little Arabian who was much like Ziggy, albeit not such a people horse. As noted in a previous comment, he and I were an item for a number of years. Enough about me. Thank you for your love of and commitment to horses (and cat and dog), and for maintaining such a KZbin presence.

Maybe I'm just coming at this more from the pet owning side of things than the equestrian side, but I don't quite understand this idea that if your horses aren't being productive then you're doing something wrong 😅 They seem to have great lives! @@LoveThoseTunes11 That's true! These horses are being productive in that way and it's really great. But I also think that if it were nearly any other animal, nobody would think it was weird if you wanted to use your money and resources and knowledge to just let that animal have a happy life without that animal having a job. Obviously lots of people don't have the resources to keep a horse that's not in work, but if you do and that's what you want to do, why not?

I always admire that you own horses as much for them as you, too many people want them as a toy to play with. I had a cousin who answered his girl's pleadings for horses with a yes, BUT... The but was that they learn about them from the hooves to the nose and about proper care from growing good fields to keeping up foot health and of course clean stalls, one of them is still a fine horse owner in her 70's and has the generational offspring of the first mare they got 60 years ago.

I love these training sessions, the way you understand the differences in your horses and then address their needs is really amazing. I have to admit my favorite part of the video was you standing in the door of your trailer calling for Tiny, and she's standing right below you, like Here I am for goodness sake!! Love all your animals on your Happy Acres Farm (that's my nickname for your place).

Stewie was a good boy today…I hope you’re able to find an indoor arena…Sweet Pearl has found a wonderful new owner…Thank you for sharing your horses with us! They’re all beautiful and know they are well cared for!

Going to be a strange couple of weeks, weather wise. Pearl is a bit worrying, but, she has you, so whatever is best for her will be done. You are feeding, watering 14(?) horses, plus cleaning their living quarters, and keeping eyes and hands on all of them to make sure they are healthy, all on a daily basis. The fact that you have the time/energy to do much of anything beyond that is amazing. I would say caring for horses is rewarding; romantic, not so much, lol, but yeah, youtube.

@@nezlquasie I check frequently for new videos even though I have notifications on. On one of CCs videos she said that she had a goal of posting 3 videos a week. I was like, “what. Only 3? I need more!” 🤣 I do watch the older ones to get me through and I am getting somewhat better at telling the brown boys apart.

I’m glad too see the number of commercials that pop up on the channel- it means that it’s a success for you and allows you to make a living doing what you love and educating us viewers. For that, I don’t mind the commercials at all, it’s well worth it.

The relationship and friendship is more important than just using a horse for pleasure. That's what's so nice about your videos, CC...we're all growing with your beauties. Stewie is a doll. Nice spending time with them today and letting us get to know them better....thanks. Was wondering, would Pearl benefit from some chiropractic or acupuncture treatments?

Tiny is getting a workout with you hand walking Pearl! Loved her sprint, no mouse outruns that! The horses are all looking good. I wonder if all the foals Pearl has produced has done something with the ligaments in her back end? She does look a tad wobbly/weak, especially on the Rt. Hopefully the long term starvation won't leave any permanent damage to her. It still infuriates me how many horses are so poorly cared for in the world. Montana's uncared for horses are so very lucky when they find you! ❤

But my favorite is the little, old, sassy man, Nigel. He still thinks he's a little stud muffin 😂😂😂!! Honey you can tell you spend a lot of time with your 4 legged babies! It shows by their behavior. God Bless you Sweetheart ❤😇

You are so thoughtful and patient. I greatly admire your approach to rehabilitating horses who others may see as misfits or worthless. And Tiny kitty likes to play along. So funny as she was romping around under the trailer while you were peeking inside calling her!

I enjoyed seeing each horse spending time with you - getting groomed and going through what moves and light challenges they can tolerate. They all have such beautiful faces - their trust in you is obvious and you have EARNED IT. Best Regards and Hope It Gets to Sticking To a Steady Lower Temp Soon - - I appreciate your concern about heating up and fungal growth in your herd - - challenging to manage through thaw spells. Best Regards and Stay Well.
