I love your colour choices 😍 I completely understand your struggles with knitted sweaters. It's taken me many many failures, just like you, and now I am just starting to get some really lovely knitted tops that fit me. Often each top will take 3 attempts and only on the third time to get it right. Fortunately I do see it as a learning curve and each failure has taught me something, but it does suck in the moment. Such a shame that the Tin Can Knits Almanac Sweater is too big because your colourwork looks amazing! I hope this new cast on works out 🤞

@@KellyPole I honestly don’t know why sweaters have given me so much trouble..I think it’s because I second guess myself a lot and don’t trust my knitting half the time 🤦 glad to hear we are both kind of on the upswing! I’m trying to convince myself that the almanac sweater was a good practice color work project so I don’t cry as I unravel it 😅 so far so good on my current sweaters!!

Just found your channel. If you haven’t frogged the tin can knits sweater yet - I’d suggest just frogging it back to below the arms. The neck & shoulders are perfect on you. I think if you adjust the width below the armpits & add a couple of short rows, it will be amazing. Good luck !

I haven’t frogged it yet! I was having similar thoughts about ripping back to the beginning of the body and adjusting the width. I absolutely love the color pattern and couldn’t bring myself to frog it yet. Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll keep you updated!

I used two color ways: tide pool and charcoal. I’m definitely going to reuse them for something! I’m planning to try and get the painting rainbows done this week..hopefully! 🤞🏻

@@MariaFerreira-gn7yn Thanks! i really enjoyed making it last year. I used the 6 day kid blanket pattern by Betty mcknit. There are several different versions, but just changed colors on every row.
