Oh my, what a great day out on Lake O. Those old baits really worked out good. Nice sized smallie to go along with all the browns.

Yeah, that smallie was a surprise for sure. Felt good to get the trolling gear out again, now just waiting for my king buddies to show up.

from what boat launch should i launch if i want to do a spring brown trout like you in late march?

Anywhere from Wilson, NY to Sodus Bay can be good as long as the conditions are right. Other areas further east are good too I'm sure, I just haven't fished them personally. Generally you want to look for areas where creeks are hitting the lake dumping out that nice warmer green water. I usually fish the Pt. Breeze area, but there are a lot of options.
