I'm sorry but this is not solely about Trayvon Martin, Mike Brown, or Eric Garner. It's a mere flick of what this song is about. It's not only about police brutality, but injustice as a whole. War, misrepresentation, Wall Street, corrupt politicians. This song is about everything wrong in America that our government tells us is right.

+Its Webzic I guess ADTR had some positive influence from STYG since this was recorded in 2014/released in 2015. It's just the beginning lead that sounds the same, but the tempo is far different and the rhythm guitar is worlds apart; no one sounds quite like STYG's rhythm guitars. They're an awesome blend of old and new school hardcore in totally their own way.

I love STYG, I love their message, I love their songs, them as people....but honestly I haven't listened to them in a while. I was hoping for something sounded a little different maybe more on the traditional hardcore punk side. Or maybe something that was just fast and aggressive and less focused on breakdowns and squeaky clean vocals. But this just sounds exactly like all of their other songs. It's kinda boring to me actually.

What choice did you give us? What choice did you give us? What choice dis you give us? What choice? What choice did you give them? Bound to machines An attempt to prevent further suffering Played by the rules Repaid unjustly But the truth is this We will not hesitate Do not allow a peaceful rage to become hate I promise you you'll regret the day A stain that won't wash away When it all falls down While you're wondering Where it all went, what it all meant We'll have no words left We may not be around To see it fall into descent We'll always be your enemy So save your breath What choice did you give us? What choice? If they'll never change, we'll never fade We will never fade If they refuse, we'll light the fuse We'll light the fucking fuse Look what we've done We've created a fate That we will never outrun Time to change the path Or be forced to forever live With what can never be undone When it all falls down While you're wondering Where it all went, what it all meant We'll have no words left We may not be around To see it fall into descent We'll always be your enemy So save your breath What choice did you give us?
