Everytime I hear this song, it reminds me of my dog who sadly died on Christmas Day of 2019. Never felt pain like that before. It cuts deep knowing that your best friend is gone. Stick figure is the best, there is no where you can find something that comes anywhere close to this, even I can tell my animals love stick figure, I had a bird I rescued that would even sing along and that was one of the most beautiful moments of my life, I put much time into that bird and loved her very much, stick figure has gotten me through some rough storms and helped me relax and feel good, motivated and remember the inner strength inside of me, this is the kind of music to bring out the best in people no matter what the circumstances are

They are making people feel things and think things while not coming off as "preachy". Their method is subtle, but effective. For me there is no doubt their music has heavy spiritual elements when you analyze their lyrics. I have long thought they are singing (in some songs) as though the savior is talking to us. For instance go listen to "Breathe" and imagine Christ is saying these things to his people. It brings new meaning to the song. Maybe this was not their intention, but it's how I interpret the song. Also, in "Above the Storm" the song changes pace at 3:16. When I first noticed this, I thought of John 3:16. Most likely just a coincidence, but it meant something to me. I suspect they leave just enough of their lyrics open to interpretation allowing the listener to turn it into something meaningful to them. SF is my most favorite band hands down. They are a gift to humanity. 🙏
