Sticky self-timer in Schneider-Kreuznach Angulon 1:8 / 90

In this film I will show how to fix a sticky self-timer, I use Isopropylalcohol 99%.
Remember to set a mark at the advance gear so you know where it sit correct.

My linhof synchro computer, B is not triggered when released. It's like 1/60 of a second. Sometimes pressing the shutter does not respond, and you must wind it up again. After releasing it, the shutter will automatically trigger. Unable to move to V word. Do you know where it broke?

I have this shutter and it's getting a little sticky with slower speeds - I have had a hard time finding documentation on it, do you know if it is possible for the speed escapement adjacent to the timer be removed for cleaning and lubrication without messing up the timing?

Hi Kenneth, Thank you for sharing your repair video. They are helpful! My shutter is slightly different from yours (I believe yours is CN-1100-000, instead of CN-1210-051.). The problem I encountered is that there is some space (0.5mm) between the cocking ring and the cocking gear so the cock ring slips when I cock the shutter. The cocking ring doesn't fit the mounting tube tightly. So I found that the spring pulls the cocking ring away from the cocking gear and creating some space on the other side. I am wondering if the cocking ring is supposed to be eccentric? Do you have any advice on solving this space problem? Thanks!

I would guess the cocking ring or other parts of the cocking gear wheels bearing is a worn out, because the the cocking ring is supposed to be round only. So I think you have to look for "new" parts, maybefrom another shutter, where other parts are worn out.
