Update! I figured out the issue from the initial install. If you have a GE panel that can take both the regular sized breakers (1 inch wide with a slot on the bottom to connect to the feed) and the 1 inch double pole breakers ( 1 inch wide with two clamps on the bottom. One clamp for each feed) you must ensure that you are crossing over breaker feeds. Example - A full sized breaker, single pole, will take up 1 slot, however the 1 inch double pole breaker will take up 1 slot but have two contact points which will provide only 120 volts instead of 240 volts . Therefore, using the 1 inch double pole breakers you must crossover feeds and use contact points 2 and 3 instead of 1 and 2. How you accomplished this is using a 1/2 inch single pole breaker in space 1, contact 1 to start the process and place the 1 inch double pole in space 1, contact 2 and space 2, contact 1. Now I have 240v on the one breaker.

Thank you, Brother!! 😁 I was installing the Tempra Plus 12 (only one circuit) but using a slim profile double pole breaker in a GE box. Both breakers were on one phase. Once I moved it down a slot it immediately kicked on! Thanks for taking the time to shoot this!! 🙏

Hey boss I want to ask you I’m installing myself to .dont want to pay someone, those two breakers are 50 or 60 amps and I want to know if I find the cable in Home Depot or where. Thank you so much for the video

I think the 2 pole breakers aren't in the right position but its hard to see, thats would explain why your wiring is backwards.

That looks to be wired wrong. I do have one of those and the way it looks you will only have 120v on each heater. from left to right it should be ground then white wire black wire white wire black wire. It will work that way but not at its full power you should have 240 volts from white to white the way it's wired in this video.

I have 2 white, 2 black, 2 red wires as well as copper grounds off 2 60amp double pole breaker. Do i have too many wires or am i wiring my grounds wrong

@@zechariahsabate8641 On this video or yours at home? If you have 2 double pole breakers and more than 5 wires something isn't right.

Thanks for your reply. The unit is wired correctly and the color of the wire is irrelevant. If I was only getting 120v on each heater it would not display. If you look back at the video, there are 2, 50amp double pole breakers going to the unit which would provide 240 V to each heater. The only reason I think I had to wire it this way is the unit might be very sensitive to voltage and I was getting some measure of resistance through the breaker. Wiring it as described in the image and the manual it wasn’t getting the voltage that it wanted to work properly.

@@StaceMoney The way this is in the video the 2 white wires are on 1 120v leg and the blacks on another so you will only have 120v the display will work on 5v it doesn't need 240v when they say line 1 line 2 it should be line 1(white) form the first breaker and line 2(black) from the first breaker and same for the second. Let's say you had white and black on the first breaker and red and blue on the second it should be wired from left to right ground white black red blue or black white blue red. Just check it with a volt meter in the video the way its wired you should have 240v white to white that's 1 heater and 240v black to black if not its not right
