I really like the OD Green color that is super slick. I am impressed by how quiet that thing runs and the fact that even at lower voltages, it is still delivering a pretty decent punch. I think it is hit or miss on whether you get what you pay for with certain brands, but that is very impressive. Usually, I can hear the threads when you are removing a grip from a pen machine, and that device had absolutely no thread noise at all. Great review as always brother.

How loud would you say this machine is compared to others? would you say its louder (or shakier) than other pen style machines you have seen? I just got one and it seems a little louder than expected. Also noticed the vibration from this one is a little more noticeable than others I have.

Very high vibration and is louder than others. Still a good machine though.

Hi thankyou for the great review. Now I know the prices are vastly different, but how does the stigma thorn compare to the sol nova. I love cheyenne machines but sol nova is very expensive so if the thorn is close in performance which it does look like it is. I would purchase this instead. Thanks again👍

I don’t use the thorn anymore although it is a nice machine I’m gonna recommend you get the stigma force xl

I don’t go by voltage I go by feel and if I need more power then I add more volts. My advice to all tattoo artists is to start at low voltage and go higher little by little till you are getting the results you want.

And what about vibration? I heard some people complaning about that...does vibration not bother you after 5-6h tattoo sessions?

Nope not after tattooing for 27 years vibration means nothing. It's actually better to have minimal vibration to feel the skins resistance.

Yes, but i mean this machine, does it vibrate a lot going higher like 7volts or its totally fine?:)
