Stihl 056 Chainsaw Milling Eastern Red Cedar

. The wood is juniper, also called eastern red cedar or aromatic red cedar. A native wood to the northeast traditionally used to make cedar chests for wool storage, now it more commonly used for fence posts as large trees are rare . large being relative thing, these are fairly diminutive trees.

Nice to see your back at it. Thanks to your vid my 056 is back in service. Cut the bar top at the local tequila bar. Dead ash around the corner. 3 and 1/2 thick 17 feet long and 20 inches wide. Four of them at about five hundred pounds. Just so I could have tequila and say I did that in my youth...Cheers you electrical genius.

i found the chain saw mill to be a lot of work my self i was useing a 2166 jonsered i us it now on big logs to fit the mill
