I’ve been using combustion engine stihl blowers for years for my gardening business, think to more over to electric just worried about battery life , is 30 minutes gonna mean you will need multiple batteries to get through a days work?

your certainly going to want a back up battery to make sure. or keep the petrol one as back up for now and see how much you can get done with the battery.

Has it got a variable speed trigger?

The trigger is a single speed trigger but you can achieve some variability by triggering on and off.

It's is a simple on off trigger. you can sort of rev by powering up and down to vary the speed so you don't have to run it on max all the time.

Thanks for your answer. I assume you mean intermittently switching on/off to get desired revs. For a Stihl it is well priced, the next model up is semi pro which has variable speed but is too expensive in my opinion.

@@Saxondog yes you've got it. It's a little difficult to explain in writing but simple in practice. If you don't need something massively powerful then this is perfect for a quick tidy up.
