Blowers are definitely the weakest link when it comes battery tools because they really do drain batteries fast... but they are really nice and convenient to use. I love my Ego blower but still use my trusty Husqvarna 525BX for the run time.

If you are putting to the test some tool's, just use the same person on each test. I saw that one of you guys is better at using the blowers. So this has a heavy impact on the time. No hard feelings guys. Keep up the good work

We completely agree (says the guy who is better at using blowers)

I know the electric is quiet but I actually find the higher pitch just as loud to my ears. I like the ideas of battery blowers but with some batteries costing in excess of £250 each and needing 2 or 3 to cover as large garden, thats a massive investment. Great for a 15 min clean up but ‘range anxiety’ worries me.

The Honda is a very heavy machine compared to anything else out here and Makita have stopped production of petrol powered equipment. Stihl and Husqvarna make good petrol blowers with good power to weight ratios. Hope that helps.

Stihl electric BGA 57 43. 04 seconds 3: longer running times 4 : more easy to refill the tank ( around 2/3 minute for petrol ) ( electric 6 hours per battery) Battery blowers are for small home owners with a small driveway or normal sized garden
