Hello, Very useful information. Thank you. My stihl brushcuter is reving off on itself while working. Too, it would not start until the spark plug is changed. Also, the used plug is dry but very dark with carbon; and after cleaning it the machine just wouldn't start. Awaiting a response from you, please.

I have an FS85 as well and just started using it. I wonder if it needs an additional gear oil change apart from the 2T oil premix just like my two stroke bike.

you dont check the filler to see if the seal wear out , u dont check the clutch or the clutch spring to see wear down.

Filter is made to withstand gas and gas(mixed with oil corectly) does not create a sticky surface, if it does in any case then its mixed incorectly
