STIHL MS 661 Magnum Chainsaw Review

I love my Ms 661c ! I put a straight shot (pretty dang loud, don't run it without ear plugs) and an air filter kit! Props to Egan for both! It's a ripper for sure nothing wrong with a bark box or max flow either! The m-tronic carb has been flawless, a little cold blooded at first but after the first cut, it's on!

I got the 261c for my very first saw. Knew I wanted a chainsaw for a long long time and never made the purchase. Tons of research and lots of looking around, finally dug into the 261. Been over a year now, well over, and now I'm wanting the 661c! Already got the green light from the ol lady!

261 is a great saw To have specially for limbs an smaller trees it blows right through them. Better get a 661 while your allowed lol. It has gone up in price so that sucks.

Thanks for the review. My big saw is a 361 and I have been looking at buying a bigger one to add to the collection. I love the 361, but sometimes it would be nice to have a little more power

I put a full wrap and large felling dogs on my 361 Run it with a 25” bar and it cuts like a champ

Im not sure. On all the pro saws they have a tag on them that says made in germany but not sure if they are making the head there or not.
