Thanks for the video. My 290 has 60 psi and looks as new as yours. Very little use. I got it at a residential yard sale for $75, and used it lightly for 1 year or so I have a 018 for the lighter work. Residential work only on 5 wooded lots with 2 houses on them. The Piston and rings look good thru the exhaust port. I've been looking for my leakdown tester, but have not found it yet. I do have one and I have a few more places to search. Hopefully, all it needs is rings too. Stihl might have gotten a batch of faulty rings when it was assembled ?? !! I think these MS290 models, came out in 2011. Thanks again.
