Great idea on what to look for on the chainsaw. I have a Stihl 250 that has the same issue. Now I know what to look for. Thanks for sharing.

Glad this helped. Pro tip... you will most likely have to take the clutch off to get to the oil pump. That requires stopping the crankshaft from turning somehow. And know that the clutch is threaded on with lefthand threads. Righty loosy!
