Nice video. Thanks. I converted my new 261CM to a WCS filter, exhaust port and 3 point dogs. Also, I see you have the orange Stihl chainsaw egg. They are not water proof and they fill up with water when left out in the rain. When I put the WCS dogs on the saw wouldn't fit in the egg. I have learned from doing. I guess I now know why no Pro's use the egg.

Thank you. Yeah, it’s definitely a tight fit for the MS290 with the dogs on it. That’s the only one that sits in a case. I haven’t found any more saw cases that work well enough for me to spend money on them. I heard that Stihl changed them and that a lot of people are complaining about the newer ones.

I have an 08 290 Farmer and put it half way under the camper during a monster rain. Never had to use it and brought home and opened it a month later. The freek'n say was in an inch of water. Hard lesson learned. I want to make a padded vinyl case in camo. Just tough enough as not to let a shovel bore a hole in the plastic on the ride home. Just hard enough for the bad guys not to find in the bushes while out hunting.

Thanks for the view and comment Larry. I don’t recall seeing the spray on oil. When I order the performance pack, I picked up the oil and a spray can of filter cleaner. Are you sure it wasn’t the filter cleaner?

Well some people just have a preference for more performances. It’s like picking a 4 cylinder engine or the 8 cylinder in your car. They both get you from one place to another. The 8 cylinder is just more fun.
