Kurzer Vergleich der unterschiedlichen Modelle

Sehr schöner Vergleich, kurze Zusammenfassung: MSA 120 : von 0.02 - 0.50 = 48 s (incl. 3 "Strafsekunden" für unvollständigen Schnitt) MSA 140 : von 0.54 - 1.21 = 27 s MSA 200 : von 1.27 - 1.47 = 20 s Dabei fällt auf, dass der Unterschied von der 120er zur 140er überraschenderweise sehr deutlich ausfällt ( 44% schneller), wohingegen die MSA 200 nur 26% schneller als die 140er schneidet. Das hätte ich so nicht erwartet! Habe mich aufgrund dieses Tests für die 140er entschieden. Endlich ein Vergleichstest, mit dem man was anfangen kann, und das ohne viel bla,bla,bla und Werbeversprechen :-). Danke.

@@Lukas-jd7vb Sehr zufrieden. Sägt alles bis 25cm Dicke zuverlässig und schnell ohne Krach und Gestank. >25cm tut sie sich dann schon schwer. Akkus haben bis jetzt auch nicht nachgelassen. Immer Vorraussetzung: sehr scharfe Kette...

You asked the right question. Why is the 140 a little bit faster ? If it is because it burns batterie life faster, then it is a trade off. If batterie life is the same, then why bother selling the 120 ? On their website Stihl says the autonomy of the 120 is 55 minutes VS 45 minutes for the 140...

My 120 makes the same noise when I’m hogging it. I think it is the chain bouncing across the wood grain.

Habe eine MSA 160 C gekauft, nach ca. 35 Betriebsstunden ist die Welle am Motor mit dem Kettenrad abgerissen. Beim Fachhandel habe ich mir dann eine zweite MSA160 C gekauft, bei dieser haben sich nach ca. 15 Betriebstunden 12 der 18 geklebten Magneten gelöst. dieser Mangel an der Akkukettensäge ist wie ich jetzt erfahren habe, schon länger bekannt und darf an einem Markengerät jnicht auftreten. Eine dritte MSA 160 C werde ich mir bestimmt nicht mehr kaufen, da ich von Stihl entäuscht bin

the 120 and 140 arent really designed for logs like this they are meant for smaller trees and Branches and tree trimming. if you want to cut large logs then buy the appropriate saw like the 200. Buy the RIGHT tool for the job.

120 and 140 dont have metal teeth, which says that it designed to cut the diameter not more than 20cm. 140 did a good job though.

Thanks for making this video. Now I understand why the Stihl MSA 120 I bought had a deal if you bought the package with extra battery. They are junk and I can take it right back to where I bought it. Thank God I didn’t use it yet.

The msa 120 isn't junk at all. Yesterday we had to cut some firewood with a friend of mine and he owns a 120 and I had my 140 and 160 with me (just for the case). We worked around 6 hours and the 120 did a fine job on the logs (smaller size up to 15x15 cm).

Thomas 68 it turns out you were totally right I like the MS120 a lot for the purpose I use it for. I along with my cousin started a tree service on the weekends and used it for the first time to cut up the branches on the ground. It did an amazing job and was super light and quiet. I was afraid all the other guys would laugh so I was hesitant to bring it before now. They laughed at first but after seeing it in action and trying it themselves, they like me are now believers. Thank you again!

Stihl msa 140 c, bought in November 2020 ( in Greece) with 24 months guarantee working smoothly, until... On the 25th month (December 2022) one of the two batteries AK30 stop charging... End of February 2023 the motor was stuck and requires replacement, common problem the service people said...Two years life, Piece of junk...

Einen ganz lieben Gruß an den Mitarbeiter der BAYWA, welcher für den Arbeitsschutz zuständig ist - und ein ebenso freundlicher Gruß an die Berufsgenossenschaft. Sie müssen doch als Händler absolut verrückt sein, so etwas im Web zu zeigen! Und die Schutzausrüstung liegt rechts im Bild... da freut sich der Arbeitgeber... er geht im Härtefall für so ein Fehlverhalten in den Knast.

Ich will ja nicht pedantisch sein aber auch bei so einer Demonstration würde ich Handschuhe, Schutz für die Augen und Schnittschutzhose tragen
