Hallo Toronto. So nice to hear from you! This model does not leave stripes. There is model with roller witch leave very nice stripes and it has better engine

You are absolutely wright. That is exactly what I do. I use very small battery operated makita lawn mover for my own garden and its absolutely brilliant. This mover is obviously for bigger lawns and usury heavy overgrown

thanks for the review. I don't like the plastic container: it looks very cheap and it's not handy to use as well with that lid: you need one hand to open it (and keep it open) and the other hand to get the grass out... that could be better (especially it's not cheap).

Well I have used it for 2 years now and I have other mover with soft collection box to compere. I have to say I like it. Its most definitely not cheap. Very solid good quality build. Soft one after a while have more wear do it won't last as long as this. Plus when grass is wet this one in so much better. But you wright to empty it its a bit less handy
