Stihl TS500i No Spark

This thing was abused, maintenance close to zero by the looks of it, maybe even put away wet multiple times. This just shows how reliable this electronic system is. I do agree with the wire wiggling out, I've seen it on some MS 500i chainsaws. But it's nothing that half a drop of superglue on each wire can't fix :P

So for this one you changed the plug, checked the connections, changed the air filter cleaned out the air box and put in proper fuel mix right? Did I leave anything out? I noticed it sounded much much better once you cleaned out the air box. Good work on this one Mike. Man I wish you'd get more comments on your channel...I'm starting to feel like the only one. Your work deserves way more comments in my opinion!

Hopefully one day. Basically the connection becomes loose and the spark stops. Sometimes the black box is needing to be replaced but usually just a random connection is loose. Not a very good system in my opinion

@@PNWSmallEngineandLawn remove the flywheel and check to see if the sator has rust or concrete dust

Hello, I am giving a class on this saw at my department. Does the flywheel have opposing magnets as well as a stationary magneto that generates 40k volts to create a charge at the spark plug?

No it does not. The flywheel I believe is the standard flywheel but the ignition system is different
