Here the EGO obviously surpassed Sthil. I can't help but wonder, is there an EGO bias? Just maybe? We can see at the end of the video that they are fully equipped with EGO appliances.

Lol it's clear that the EGO mower is set higher you can't see any clearance under the Stihl. Im sure you guys are selling EGO but that is a ethically terrible comp

They also don't say which Stihl model. They have two battery systems AP and AK. AK is the cheaper system. The AP system is more the pro version, and has three battery sizes 200, 300 & 500. The AP battery works in the hedge trimmers, string trimmers, edge trimmers, 2 models of chain saws, and small blowers. I don't see any Pro landscaper's using EGO, but see a lot of them using Stihl AP tools

I run ego not to happy with it after a yr it’s to light hit a bump it shuts off as a safety deck so light it jumps all over iv had 4 red death batteries n there warranty is a joke they get slowly over time start to fail n reduce power ! I’m switching this yr to sthil and toro . U also are comparing a 7.2 ah battery on the sthil vs a 12ah battery not really a fair comparison!

Mark we can agree that the mower is light weight. That is by design. EGO doesn't even make a 12ah battery!? The batteries were similar in size, I will have to go back and watch the video to remember what size they were. But it was the standard batteries that come with the mowers.

Folsom Lake Landscaping, have you checked into the EGO Commercial lineup? The commercial lineup is made for landscapers, while the rest of their product is made for home owners. The commercial lineup is heavier built.

@@MerzFarmEquip I’m not a fan of the commercial line up as it requires u to wear a backpack battery n cord. N yes ego makes a 12ah battery as well as a 10ah battery. The biggest issue I had with it was the safety when you hit a big patch or bump it just shuts off . Sthil battery’s are also 36v vs 56v . Which makes them cheaper they also charge faster and are less bulky and their battery pole saw and chainsaw destroys the competition. That being said I still think everyone has work to do when it comes to mowers . The new battery commercial toro looks interesting . Also sthil is a lot better balanced tools in hand held . My other issue with ego is my batteries failed and I was told I was out of luck cause they only cover defects not a full bump to bump warranty. Also my hand held blower went out in 7 months and will not turn on. They also claim 650 and 765 cfm on their blowers but if you read that’s while using turbo mode which drains the battery within 15 min . So it’s not really a constant 765 cfm which is miss leading. Long run they are just not for my business. Iv seen others jumping to kress battery tools .
