Arborist Using Haulotte 5533A Towable Lift Stihl Husqvarna Massive Locust Tree Removal

A professional arborist removing one of the largest locust trees in the area due to concerns of rot and risk to home and vehicles. There was no good way to reduce risk without severely compromising the tree so we opted for removal. We used our Haulotte 5533A towable lift to facilitate the removal. This tree was much taller than our lift. It was likely 30' above our 55' lift. This made for a challenging job. Watch to see how we safely brought down this monster tree.

A day in the lift is so easy. Climbed so many like that, sometimes , you can only go so far on the dead stuff. Great vid.

I've climbed many as well. Started in 07 and have only had a lift for a couple of years. Climbing everything was definitely starting to take a toll on my joints. Glad to only climb when necessary or easier than using the lift now.

@@stihlgotit Yea, 34 yrs of climbing, now people call for those trees that can only be climbed, ya get known for being " the only fool around" who will do it.

@@treeguyable yeah that is exactly how I got my start. Everyone else would turn it down because they didn't have a climber.
