Back in the 90s in jr high and high school I'd watch Timber sports and World's Strongest Man reruns on ESPN. The good old days

Them standing on a log, chopping at their own feet was probably the most stressful thing Ive ever seen.
@STIHLTIMBERSPORTS Жыл бұрын
Maybe it will make it easier for you to look at them knowing that they wear chain guards in their shoes. 😃

Never thought I needed manly men chopping trees in my life, love it!

Cool sport, I love it. Especially the saws. I love saws, but some of them logs look different inside, knots and what not, definitely could kill time

Devastating news. Stihl timber sports legend and the greatest ever; Jason Wynyard from New Zealand has just passed away after a battle with cancer aged 49. Rest in peace Jason. 🌹🌹🌹

Where is Ferry?! Why no Ferry?!
@STIHLTIMBERSPORTS2 жыл бұрын
Ferry did not qualify for the Individual World Championship as the host country representative, as he only finished second in the 2022 STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Nordic Championship. Emil Hansson represented Sweden at the Individual World Championship 2022 in Gothenburg.

One sport where you really don't want the competitors to start throwing things in anger 😁
@STIHLTIMBERSPORTS Жыл бұрын
Haha no you definitely don't want that. We can reassure you, they do not do that either 😃

@@STIHLTIMBERSPORTS aww could you imagine an actual axe throwing event though? I suppose thats more about the axe than it is the wood itself right, its called timbersports for the relation to what can be done to the wood
@STIHLTIMBERSPORTS8 ай бұрын
@@nathanmiller9381 Axe throwing is also pretty cool, but it's not a TIMBERSPORTS®discipline. Our six disciplines simulate traditional forestry skills, axe throwing is not one of them :)

❤ Mark 1:15 - “The time is fulfilled,” He said, “and the kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe in the gospel!” John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
