Awesome purchase, Bro! Yes, I almost have all of the 2021, GSM CS Folders that I wanted. The Talwar's and Hold Out's are next... The Western Bowie looks real Classic; very cool, Bro! Enjoy! Peace, Stiletto :-)

I have the Roach Belly but the Tanto Lite looks very nice 🙂
@Kris_Stiletto3 жыл бұрын
Both, the Tanto Lite (Master Tanto Lite, is what it really should be called; compare the two) and the Outdoorsman Lite are great fixed blade values, in my opinion. My only gripe about them is their sheath. I have custom Kydex Sheaths on the way for mine. When they get here I will share them with you guys so you can see the potential of these great, budget, fixed blades... :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

Right on! Mine should be here tomorrow. Yes, I was planning on a surprise, with mine... :-) :-) :-) But, it looks like the word is out... :-) You know, Nephew, I had to get that one, when I saw it; it's, to me, the first "Tactical" 4Max... So, yes, I had to get it. If it comes on Saturday, look for a Video on mine; I will make it as soon a I get it... It's going in the Rotation Drawer! :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

Nice purchases! I love Cold Steel Tanto point blades. I had a Tanto Lite long ago. I now have a Kobun, a Drop Forged Survivalist, and a Recon Tanto San Mai 3. By the way, was that a Kris TiLite that you have in the video? The handle looked metallic. How did you get that to happen? It looks nice!
@Kris_Stiletto3 жыл бұрын
Very cool! My favorite out of the one's you mentioned is the San Mai Recon Tanto; I have several, different, CS Recon Tanto Fixed Blade Knives and the San Mai is my personal favorite. Both, of mine are the VG-10 San Mai. Awesome blades... The Kobun and old Oyabun are awesome, too... I have those, also... But, I don't have the Drop Forged Survivalist... I will have to check that one out... :-) The Ti-Lite VI, you see, was custom built by me, out of two Ti-Lite VI's, I had. One was the Old. 7075, AUS-8A Model. The other was a Special Edition, Lynn C. Thompson Kris, #154. I did a Scale Swap on them. And, I removed the EDP Finish off of the 7075 Aluminum Scales and Wet Sanded and Polished the Handle Scales to a Mirror Finish and reassembled the two knives... :-) That's #154 that you saw... :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

@@Kris_Stiletto I got my 4Max Scout and Range Boss Flat Dark Earth today!! I am so happy!! If I can get the Range Boss Black, I may sell the FDE (Flat Dark Earth) version. Then again, the FDE version may grow on me and I may end up keeping it. Who knows? I am going to dinner with some friends Saturday to celebrate the 22nd wedding anniversary of my wife and I. The Range Boss will be with me, being that is my new "Gentleman's Knife". Baptism by Fire, if you will!! But I think that, right now, I am going to take a break on buying any more Cold Steel, unless the Range Boss Black comes in stock. I have every type of folding, fixed blade, machete, kitchen, and other non-metal blade item that I truly wanted. But never say never. There is ALWAYS the 2022 Cold Steel lineup! Take care.

Do you have a Cold Steel Wasp? That thing is a pretty sweet fixed blade thruster. 7 mm thick drop forged railroad spike with stiletto vibes.
@Kris_Stiletto3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I have reconsidered that one, too... It's a maybe, in the future... My next big knife purchases will be the GSM CS Talwar's and Hold Out 1's... :-) :-) :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

@@Kris_Stiletto Good choices. The Hold Out is nice and flat and has the triad lock. I might have to get me one of those... After watching your videos I bought my very first Ti-lite and switchblade stilettos. 6 inch and 13 inch of course. I appreciate all of the attention to detail you put in your videos because I learned a lot from you. Thanks for sharing your collection!

How is Midway's customer service?
@Kris_Stiletto3 жыл бұрын
I have never had a issue with any item I received from them. So, I haven't had that experience... But, I have made special orders though the phone with them and they have always treated me the way I felt I should be treated, with patience and respect. I highly recommend them; they always have great prices and sales. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

Do you really like the lite knives from Cold Steel?
@Kris_Stiletto3 жыл бұрын
Do I like all Knives from Cold Steel? No! But, the one's I do like, the Tri-Ad's, I really luv and trust and depend on them more than any other folder, regardless of cost or materials or craftsmanship or Country of Origin... The real question is: What do you like most, the Cold Steel Company or the Andrew Demko Tri-Ad Lock? The answer is: The Andrew Demko Tri-Ad Lock... I don't think of myself as being loyal to any one Manufacturer or Knife Designer or Maker. I like to keep my mind open to trying out new things that I haven't had the fortune to try out yet... To me, if you're a Brand Loyal Type, you end up closing your eyes to everything else that's being invented or produced. So, you end up falling behind in the advancements of the things you like. Myself, I have two main purposes for carrying a folder. One is for utility and daily cutting chores. Two is for self-defense; it's a last ditch effort weapon that can keep an attacker from killing you or your loved one's, when all else fails... And, if scenario number two happens, I want the safest and most dependable folder I can have on my person. That's why I carry Tri-Ad's, Deadbolt's, XR's w/flippers, and Plunge-Locks w/flippers, These are the one's I want on me in a dire situation. It's not the Company, for me, it's how safe and dependable the folder is that sells me on the knife... I like them light, strong, and safe to use... Cold Steel has just always made the types of knives that fit my purposes... I am a City Person. I like things that I can carry and conceal that pack the biggest punch possible, without weighing me down or other's noticing... So, I like small Utility, Work Knives that are fun to fidget with and are great for utility purposes. And, I luv the Mega Folders; they pack the biggest punch... :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

Well, that sheath really sucks... =D
@Kris_Stiletto3 жыл бұрын
Totally agree... But, remember, these are Budget Fixed Blades for under $30.00... And, for that, it's okay... But, the Lite Tanto (Master Tanto) and the Lite Outdoorsman Fixed Blade Knives, absolutely "ROCK!" In my opinion, they make awesome SDUEDC Fixed Blades, they just need a better custom sheath. The blades are 6" long and 4mm thick, through out the blade of the knife, just like their more expensive Brothers, with their 5mm thick San Mai or 3V Blades... Even, if you go on eBay and buy a custom Kydex Sheath for one of these, it should still be well under $100.00 for the total cost of the knife and sheath for one of these. I have seen nice looking custom Kydex Sheaths going for around $30.00 or so. I paid $23.00 for this knife, brand new, from MidwayUSA. These are a great deal, in my opinion, for a great SD, CS, Fixed Blade... :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

Yes. Pick one up and see. I know it's just German Krupp, 4116, Stainless Steel... But, these are ground real nice and the handles are super grippy and comfortable. I just think these don't get enough attention. And, it's probably due to the Sheaths... I just think these are awesome budget fixed blade fighters. I will look into some Sheaths for mine and share it with you guys... :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)
