I have to say I completely agree with all of this. I’m a Capricorn and my moon is in Pisces and I’m now just excepting that my emotions have to come first. Thank you dear Brittany, it has been a very teary, retrospective and confusing new moon - bringing up old beliefs, frustrations, negativity and challenges from the past, especially as my ruler is the moon and its taking place in my 6th house of service to others. Not sure if other people felt a sense of alienation and abandonment history rise up again, I suppose they will always arise until they are understood in the depth of our soul where they were felt. Mercury retrograde added to that, being in Capricorn, which relates to authority figures (who ever they be or have been in our life) and Neptune added the veil that can't be seen through in order to reach that understanding which is of a higher spiritual one that our soul needs in order to move on. Perhaps if this new moon happened before Neptune stationed/went direct we would have been able to catch a glimpse of it, but as it at present its like a block out curtain that we can't see through to that light of understanding we so need to move on. Mars adds to the frustration of wanting to move on, but knowing at the depths of our soul that moving on is inherently freedom, freedom from the emotional blockages that hold us down from really being able to move forward towards inner peace. I think the moon is in sadness at this time, be that those who are ruled by it, women in general, or mothers who the moon represents. Vesta is in Cancer at the moment, devoted to the sacred flame of Devotion in her beliefs, and is there with Astrae, the goddess of enduring suffering for her people. There was so much sadness for me at this new moon, about the past, the present and the uncertainty of which way to go, especially as Vesta represents our devotion to the sacred flame, and as you said Brittany perhaps we need to nurture and care our emotional well being and seek that sacred flame within us and as found in the sacred Sun above us. I wish us all peace in heart, love and good will to all.

Sorry to hear about your father's health, I hope he recovers. One of the things that deteriorates our health the most is fear, especially fear of dying when we are sick, as it paralyses us into that state of inertia. There is so much unknown about the body and a whole lot that is assumed. The body is always trying to live long and is exceptionally magnificent in how it heals, and it helps a great deal to come out of the fear of dying. My mother was ill back in the beginning of 2020 and she bounced back really well when I explained to her that she had beat the illness and just needed to recover her strength and energy. If you think you're dying you go into a dying phase, if you think you have overcome it you go into a recovery phase, if you think it will come back you go into the chronic phase. Modern medicine seemingly looks to prolong life, but the way it is handled prolongs illness and causes loss of hope. Look into Germanic New medicine if you want to learn more about the connection of the psyche, body and organs.

p.s I think there was a mercury retrograde blooper when Brittany said Mars went retrograde in Leo, it was actually Venus who went retrograde in 2023 in Leo, but Mars will retrograde there in late 2024. Perhaps Brittany had this upcoming year's forecast in mind but perhaps the blooper is poignant of a repeat of something that is yet to come.
